No news from me really - same old same old!!

Okay, so I just quickly have to share...something weird has happened to me today!

I have been holding onto all my LG's outfits that is too small (from birth till 2 years). So yesterday I finally decided that I must start making room for Adriaan, and I decide to give some of the stuff to a guy who works with me. His LG is just over 2 months now.

I gave him a black bag full of clothing yesterday - all new stuff or only worn once. And all very modern and hip stuff, too cute. My LG was too big for most of the stuff, and then also grew so rapidly that I couldn't get all the clothes on in time ( I still feel sad about this...)

Today the guy and his girlfriend actually personally came to thank me and show me their LG. And she had on one of the outfits I gave them. The mom also gave me a litlle bear for Adriaan and a R150 voucher for a pedicure. And she was so grateful.

I went all happy and fuzzy inside, so unlike me. And now still I am sort of floating on this cloud of happiness.

Geeze, makes me think I should do more good...

PS: I rarely do something like this, as I am such a grumpy person

Thanks Carmen... LOL... just spent R300 on the Calora website. At least I got free delivery and they deliver to your door. I got the breast pad things (so Vix, dont worry about looking at the Crazy store for me), I got an electric bottle brush thing (I need one now for Missy's bottles even though I'm sure I'll be BF baba - I remember someone else commenting about it once...), I got a water flo thing - being eyeing that for ages for the bath - protects taps and gives lovely fountain of water (hoping it will help with washing of Missy's hair... when she gets some more hair...) and got a funny teether thing. Everything was on special and I have looked at most of the things before! Oh, and i got a swim-trainer thing for Missy to start going in the water with, marked down from R239 to R99! All in all, everything's normal price was R690 and I got it all for R303!!!

My retail therapy done for today... still nothing really for new baba... poor thing! When the baba is bigger, please dont tell the baba that at 32 weeks I still hadnt bought anything for him/her! I promise to try and find something tomorrow - even if its just nappies!!!

Going back to Woolies tomorrow and will ask them to try to source some things in Newborn size from other branches. Yesterday they only had bigger sizes. I want to get from Woolies because you have 3 months to take back, with not knowing the sex it DIFFICULT! I am going to buy both girl and boy things... I still have my R50 off R250 voucher for WooliesBabes. Woolies is just a treat for us. I have plenty of neutral stuff in good condition still, so must just get to unpacking...

Ackermans also have a special at the moment, buy for R400 and get, I think, R70 off voucher (voucher valid till Feb next year).

Also stocking up on some groceries, especially heavy things, so I can take it easy in Jan and Feb.

Off to Gynae just now.... yay!

Meags- it's pretty hectic at times but ironically a hard back massage seems to really help, maybe it's because it changes your posture i don't know but it needs to be a proper hard deep muscle massage so preferably find yourself a masseuse who is known for deep tissue work. Otherwise what i do is lay on the bed with pillows behind me and rub my bio oil/aqueaous mixture into my tummy massaging as much around the lowest rib as possible. To be honest these things only work for a while and when baby is big the burning almost never goes away. I also like to lay back on my preggy ball and roll around for a bit of immediate relief but as soon as you get up it's back.

Carmen- i had one pair with C and it worked perfectly fine because you don't need them in all the time, I'm just going to get myself another pair at this price in case my old ones break or burst or something, you never know. I promise you i couldn't live without them. Might get a pair for my cousin in the UK too and then I'm thinking they would make a great baby shower gift so actually i might just get 4 pairs and keep them for gifts at that price! I honestly think my Carriwell ones cost over R200

Chris- sorry you're not feeling well hun! a runny tummy is fine as long as you keep fluids up and you don't have cramps with it.

MommyN- yes my gran sent over R1000 from the UK for the kids so i decided i wanted to get something big and usefull and long term useful with it instead of wasting it on crappy little things and C has recently been using the beds and sofas as trampolines so it's perfect timing actually. The boys will use it forever I'm sure and IF i ever move then I'll just take it with.

vix I have been meaning to ask for weeks. How do you deal with the rib pain????
Mine is SO sore already and you have 2 heads under yours!

Vix - I bought a pair with the previous sale- one set is enough right?
