Re "the lady", mine has not just disappeared, but also has my big tummy resting on her when I sit! I can literally pick up my tummy and then I can atleast "feel" my lady, but no seeing her.

Last night I was lying in bed, looking at my tummy and trying to remember what it was like to have a flat stomach. Really can't remember. This have been such a long 2 years.

But, as soon as my little guy is born, I am so regaining my flat tummy

Chan, I would get booked off for the rest of the year or until maternity leave. And for the bonus, if he was going to give it to you, he still will. If not, he is an asssssss.

Congrats on things looking good for a natural birth. Man, can't wait for Monday to see if my little guy has turned. My mother gave birth to me while being breech, and I am so scared that I will end up the same way. We are so alike, my mom and me. I even have stretchmarks on the exact same spots as her. Crazy, but true

Carmen, sorry to hear about the reflux. I get heartburn quite bad quite often, but I am really getting use to it by now. As for the aches and pains, same story, seems to be a way of life for me nowadays.

Chan - sick leave should not affect your bonus - your boss is an &hole, he doesn't abide by the Labour relations Act.

Vix - carrying compactly must be difficult- ther are too and they are taking up all the space in your belly! that's probably why you have such terrible burning rib pain.
I have also shaven all off, last few years also used an epilator, but now I can't see what I'm doing - I've left it untrimmed which I really HATE - so I think I will wax.
Yep - the reflux was bad this afternoon! Still there but subsided a bit, will have to take another slug of gaviscon.

Anyway I managed to go to home affairs today, called first so when I got there it only too me 10-15 minutes to sort out. My name is now changed back to a maiden name - I chose not to change my name when we got married last year - we are together for 20 years but married only for 1- LOL - and decided that it was not necessary to change to a married name. I can now sort out my UIF forms!

Chan- The way your A hole boss was acting before i wouldn't bet he was planning on paying you a bonus anyways because he sounds like a real #@#@# is it worth the pain and suffering? isn't that like 3 weeks away? I agree with Chris you can try for half day if you're worried. I know I wouldn't be able to work from now, sitting at a PC is killing me for half an hour only.

Maryke- oh i do hope your domestic is o.k, what a scary thing! Leave the housework! Really it can't be that bad and if it is then so what, DH will just have to deal with a little mess and help you pack the dishwasher.

Carmen- wow everyone suffers differently hey? This gastric reflux is really a pain in your backside hey? It just goes to show, not only do we all carry differently in the physical sense but also in the way our bodies cope under the strain of pregnancy.

People quite often comment that I carry small for twins but that in no way means it's easier, they are still the same size as regular babies they are just using up more internal space. I noticed it because with C i could still get my foot in my mouth i was so flexible and now I'm still the same size as i was i can barely shave my own legs anymore.

Meags- thanks, very English names but being a Brit my family really cannot pronounce Afrikaans names right at all!

as for the lady, i shaved or used veet and took everything off every single week from 32w with C because I was so scared of going into labour and them maybe shaving me dry. I've been taking everything off from 20 something weeks this time mainly because i can't see to just keep her tidy so rather take it all off. I definately agree with the amount of bleeding even with a natural birth i would try to stay completely clean shaven, i don't want them to have any excuse to dry shave me, can't imagine having that itch whilst trying to recover from the birth.

can your dr maybe book you half day for now?

Maryke that's terrible. I really hope your domestic recovers quickly. Shame that must have been a huge shock for you.

Ok i'm dying being back at work today! OMG the pain in my back is back again and i'm in agony. I have no idea how i'll be able to sit here until 13 Dec??? Gosh do I ask Dr to book me off from end of this month or do I try and sit it out? I know if i'm booked off there's just no way they'll give me a bonus in Dec. But there again I could be sitting here everyday and killing myself and not get a bonus in December anyway because look at the shit salary they paying me when i'm off on leave?! Oh what to do??

OMW Maryke, thats terrible, and quite worrying. yoru domestic is now the 7th person I have heard of who has had the runs since Mon, Im starting to think it wasn't food that made dh and I sick. Gosh, that is flipping scary, really hope your domestic is ok and they find out whats wrong.

Please dont push/pick up anything heavy, you need to take it easy you have almost 2 days to prove dr that you wont see him at hospital.

I had such an eventful morning shame it's actually bad.

Yesterday morning my domestic started complaining about vomiting and tummy runs during monday night so I gave her all the nitty grittys that we normally take I told her don't worry about the house go ly down rest, so at about 5 the afternoon she came in again said she is feeling better but her tummy is just cramping she is just getting something to eat and drink fine so I didn't think to check up on her again thinking shame she must be so tired and drained I will leave her to sleep

Six this morning no domestic cause I had her keys I asked my lo pls go call paulina so of she goes she comes back still no paulina, so I get up to go call her, get to her room she is lying on the floor in her own urine and poo sorry tmi unresponsive, start calling the mtn 911 guess what no luck getting hold of them I was holding on the phone for about an hour so I hung up the phone, phoned my mom asked her to bring her domestic to help me clean paulina to get her to the hospital, hubby brought his driver and he's cleaner at the office to also help, eventually we got her in the car and of they went I didn't even think to phone her family I was so flippen worrie about her lucky by hubby's driver got hold of her phone and phone her son he is at hospital with still waiting to hear whats wrong last I heard they had her on a drip doing bloods and they want to check her kidneys I am so stressed and worried about her I have never seen her so sick in the last 8years she has been working for me

I was thinking of getting my moms domestic in the new year to come and help like I was explaining in earlier post so my mom told me today that her domestic is HIV positive so I said sorry mom can't take that chance with the babies and frances-jane so I am back to square one.

O and to top of everything hubby phones must he get his mom to come and help cause paulina might only come back in the new year and bla bla bla, so I am like arno stop jumping the gun for now I am sorted but for december she must come he says so I say just wait a bit

Ladies not to be funny but I don't need more people in this cramped house and besides I need a cleaner not entertainment and more people stressing me out every 5 minutes shame I suppose he is only thinking of me, but ladies his mom's not good with babies at all I saw that with my lo so yes it's just gonna be more of a stress then a pleasure

Ok enough of my drama I am feeling ok just eina today been busy with cleaning a bit of the house, ok one thing I miss my tumble dryer had to drop my laundry at a friend to dry lucky my dishwasher works frik Vix I don't know how you cope I TAKE MY HAT OF TO YOU!!!!!!!!
