Maryke - hope they are able to stop the contractions, sounds like the doc is confident they will. Thinking of you and take it easy.

My next scan is only next week Friday, haven't felt any movement yet, I think it becuase I too flabby . A little anxious though, wondering if 'noodle' is still ok.
Celebrated my gran's (father's mother) 80th birthday on Sat a pleasant family gathering, the first after my aunt passed, so I think she was pretty sad about it. And on the 18th Oct my grandad (mother's father) turns 92- he is so excited about it he invited each member of th family personally to celebrate and give thanks! So sweet.
On Sat my cousin (23), the youngest of us, says to me "I see you also living the good life" (because of my weight gain) so my sister asked her "Oh, are you pregnant too?" My cousin blushed in shock, syaing "No, I'm not, is Carmen pregnant?" She just thought I had gotten fat. She thought I had said that I was never going to have children and that this was a "glispie". LOL

Maryke! Put a cork in it!! Please look after yourself, I hope they can stop the contractions, I think you have overdone yourself at work, time to take it easy, as Vix said, you'll probably have to be on bedrest for a while. Please, please keep us posted, thinking of you and hoping everythign goes well! xox

Suriya, congrats on the first tooth! My LG has 2 since about 5 months, and then nothing (thus we have a 2tooth-wonder...)

Chris, great pics. You're tummy looks so pretty! I am really missing my nice first bump. This one is too full of flab too!

So, we had a really tiring holiday away. I didn't like the resort we stayed at, and we actually came back sunday instead of Monday. But we did manage to spend alot of quality time with our LG which was so worth it. BUT very tiring. I really don't know how you SAHM do it - hats off to you guys! This 4 days nearly had me at my end

But yes, I am already missing her so terribly and the day has bearly started.

As for the spa - WOW, it was difine. Wish we could have stayed over and had another day or two.

Chan, really can't believe you are already so far along. Vix and you were the first to start this thread, and now you are nearly there! Well done. Oh, and I too sometimes still can't believe I am pregnant.....

Maryke- Thinking of you my friend! oh gosh, so early too but I'm sure they will be able to stop the contractions, just means you're gonna be on bed rest for the next few weeks I'm sure! Keep us updated please please hun! and if you do end up sitting in hospital for a while we'll come bring you goodies and conversation.

Chan- so pleased you enjoyed your little break but you are so right, it's hard to actually enjoy a holiday as you get bigger because everything feels uncomfortable and you long for the comforts of your own home, i was a bit like that at my mums last weekend.

Asp- did you have a nice spa day to celebrate your anniversary?

Sterretjie- i think i am almost as excited as you to know the sex of your LO because couriosity has killed the cat burried it and even dug it back up for me LOL i am dying to know what's in that tummy of yours LOL
