oh well, i'm off to work. been dreading this weekend for weeks now. i hvae to at the ct convention centre for some nuclear medicine congress which begons tomorrow. but today we have a lunch at some awesome sushi restaurant in mouille point! and i can;t even have any! then we have a meeting then i'll be home around 6. but from tomorrow, i'll be there from 8am followed by a dinner somewhere right through till thurs night.

figured out what was wrong with my back... i have sacroiliac joint pain. have to wear this belt thing around my hips. it helps but the baby hates it. if i put it any lower, it'll be on my thighs. this tot is very low still.

LO & i are still in bed watching cartoons , DH went fishing last night and will prop be home tonight @ about 6:30pm. So we are all alone. Think i will take LO to visit GreatGrandma.

On a previous conversation about breastpads i couldn't reply, i used washable one's from Snookems i think the name was. Had 2 pairs and it's still in good condition..im gonna make use of them again. Will prob buy one or 2 more sets again. So then i have more than enough if a set or 2 is in the wash or still wet.

Vix so glad the tweenies are growing so nicely!!!

AFM- im still coughing - it's been 18 days now, don't get the time to go to the pharmacy in the week to find out if there is a safe med to use. i Know there is, Dr gave me name...but i lost the name. Think LO and me must get dressed and go for a ride to pharmacy and my Grandma.

I've had problems signing on at work, and too tired to do so in the evenings.

SH - so sorry for your loss, thinking of you and your dh.

So I am on top of the world today after my gynae appointment. He was so happy with the tweenies growth, they are both measuring spot on 24w so the smaller one has now caught up to the earlier concieved one. He said I am so healthy and my body is carrying the twins as well as a singleton pregnancy. My BP is nice and low 120/60. He said it's very normal for one twin to start to trail behind in growth from around this time but he is over the moon to see they are both steadily growing at the same rate as a singleton pregnancy which shows I'm obviously eating well enough and relaxing well enough. His face was a picture, he actually measured each head 3 times to check he had it right because he was so shocked to see equal growth LOL. He said not to worry about the spotting because it was after intercourse that will show it was the actualy penetration that caused it but as it was so little and everything looks so good we are fine to continue on for the next month doing the deed. But he said I must just give it a little rest in between each time (ha ha ha I nearly fell off the bed because once a month is great for us anyways LOL) But really it feels so good to get such great news today, I am truely on top of the world. Feels a little sad to be so ecstatic about my own news after SexyHexy's bad news just 2 days ago but really a huge relief for myself and DH about the tweenies. They have moved a little so now both are lying transverse (head up) one under each rib (yes it is ouch!) Which will explain the constant kicking on top of my cervix and the occasional incontinance (which is very occassional but still not nice)

Jess- you aswell for monday, can't wait to know what you're having!

Sterretjie- I don't know about your baby hey? If it doesn't show it's sex aÞ the next appointment then can we presume you have a shy LG in there? LOL What would you like it to be (other than healthy of course)

So Gauteng girlies, can people make a mid week meet after the long weekend one day? Sometime from 27th Sept to 1st Oct? I know Meags is working the week after so then it should be something like 11th - 14th (can't do 15th as I'm at the gynae again)

Sterretjie, wow you still havent been able to see the gender??!! I wouldve def gone bananas by now As for the sleeping, left is best but any side will do. later on you can put a pillow underneath your belly for support. Youll prob not be able to sleep on your tummy because bump is in the way. Back sleeping from now on will start to be a problem because baby and all the goods are just too heavy and puts too much weight on your main arteries, thats why youll start to feel feint. But my gynae said that most women turn onto their backs while sleeping but your natural instinct will help you and youll most likely turn back to your side.

Chris, I have the exact same thing with my nose already!! I had major problems with sinus and polips growing with my last pregnancy, so much that I had to have a sinus op when my son was 8months. So now Im on chronic spray to prevent it from happening this time too.. I just wish it would rain so the dust and bugs will go wash away.

Chris - cannot wait for the rain too - I also wake up with a blocked nose but then it clears up quickly. But I cannot wait for the smell when it starts raining - love it.
Congrats on 20 weeks - the time is flying by and before we know it we will have our little angels in our arms - cannot wait. I am 24 weeks today and have almost popped our overnight - I really look pregnant now.

Kimika, good luck with seeing the sex - we are still waiting patiently for this Peanut to show us.

Sterretjie, Suriya, im also very glad its friday, also dont feel too good, it really needs to rain, my sinus/nose is blocked (and bloody) so between the dry air, dust and pregnancy symptoms my nose is taking strain.

Sterretjie, I also wonder about the sleeping postions, at the moment its whatever suits the blocked nose I normally fall asleep on my left, im most comfortable like that, but then I wake up on my back, I will ask my dr on Monday, Iv got so many questions for him, he might run away, lol.

We're 20 weeks today, cant believe it, I just keep praying that my babies will be ok. I basically have 8 weeks to sort everythign out (to be on the safe side). Dr warned me anythign from 28-34weeks. My boss's wife was in hospital at 26w because she started with contractions, but then babies stayed in until 33/34w, so trying to be more cautious as the weeks approach.
