Oh, forgot to mention. I am also not getting any movement here. Only had the few kicks last week and that was it.

Was so relieved to see the little heart beating away yesterday.

I am sure things are well with you babas. Maybe they don't have lots of room to move in since they are sharing a sack. Also, you could have a thick plasenta like me - thus resulting in not feeling to much movement.

Thanx Hexy! No, I don't think I'm sad, just so surprised. I was thinking before hand that I am open-minded about the gender, but obviously I was a bit bias.

Am really looking forward to the new challenges of a little boy.

Oh, and did I mention how proud Hubby is??????

I think he only realised yesterday aswell how much he would like a little boy.

So here's hoping he doesn't get disappointed later on - although the dr did give us a "it's 100% a boy)

Sorry about the bad swelling. With my first pregnancy I retained a lot of water and had the worst swelling ever. But no health concerns. Still hoping to miss it this time round. Only started at 20 weeks, so holding thumbs.

Aaaaw Aspoestertjie...are you sad that it is a boy?? One of each ain't that bad??? I do believe God gives us what He thinks is best...so once you see that little boy's face...you will fall so deeply in love...and boys is such a blessing!! But strongs girl....

How is everone doing? EISH...feet swelling really bad...especially later afternoons...looks like real poffertjies LOL

I don't feel pregnant Nausea is subsiding...dont' really have a tummy...no movement....Is this normal???

Maryke, happy birthday for yesterday! Glad your scan went well and babies are growing nicely. Sorry to hear about your discomfort - I can only begin to imagine. Luckily, that is also where it stops!

So, our scan also went GREAT. Could see baba2's heartbeat (157bpm), the brain, little spine and ribs, bladder, stomach and little vingers. Then for the sex....

I asked the gynae upfront if he would be able to see. He said probably, I said don't tell if you're unsure, he gave me a look...

So we went in (after weighting myself - yah for being a fatty)

I said I think girl, gynae said Hubby probably want a boy since we have a girl, Hubby said nothing.

Dr took a look. Struggled a bit to look. Then said "Looks like Hubby wins this one"

I was going: "No, I REALLY think it is a girl!"

Dr took another look. Nope, definately a boy. Then enlarged the bum part from underneath and we could see the "boy parts - little winker and even the sacs"

So, I was really socked. And Hubby was ecstatic. Dr said he have never had such a quite Mom at a gender scan before.

I am still really shocked. I suppose I did know there was the possibility of baba being a boy, but it seems like I didn't believe it could happen. And so it did.

Scan went well each baby weighs in at 640grams can't remeber the length and I have 12 weeks left then we meet them

Booked my bed today and my 4d scan they only doing my 4d at 30 weeks???????????? on the 22 October

My next visit to gyne is also on the 7 October

Hubby tried pushing me to see the sexes and guess what.........don't know ha ha shame he was so upset with me the doc even told him stop pushing once you marry them the say is over

Oi they say from about 22 weeks babies put on like 200g per week so if I have 12 weeks left that means 3kg baba's what!!!!!!! I will die
