Aspoestertjie, know how you feel re medies uitgeput. Our day to day benefits are none, so for now bloods and meds I have to pay in cash Got the huge bloods coming up at 16weeks, so that will be R1000 if not more. At least I opened an account at our pharmacy if I need to get meds and don't have the cash...But it's like I told my dad, last year me and DH was on the Primary Option of Bonitas and everything lasted...this year we are on Standard, the better option, and in May the day to day were also uitgeput. At least my gynie visits comes out of my pregnancy benefits.

Hayley, yesterday I got my hopes up thought the bleeding was on its way out but its back again this today, dr did say it will come and go, it is better, but not gone. I really hope I can go to the meet, would hate to miss it, but will have to see closer to the time.

I thought i needed a new pic, so i put Chloe up.. All is well friend.. How's the bleeding? Hope you can join us for our meet, would be nice to see you again..

Marie, to me that looks like a boy... When i was pregnant with Chloe, all you saw between her legs looked liked a little rose bud...

Im hoping our next scan dr will be able to tell us what babies are.

Asp, next scan next Monday, dr said we didn't have to go this week as we were doing well, so bedrest is paying off, but not when it comes to work.

We went on a mini holiday last weekend and it was pure bliss! I had such a good time. Did not get to relax, but that is something you get use to very quickly when you become a Mommy (that and always having COLD supper)

Chris, so sorry to hear about your frustration. Hate it when things just don't seem to work out as we plan. Did you not have a scan this week?

Can't remember who posted scan pics, but they are all so damn cute! And I would never be able to tell the sex by a scan pics - still amazes me that I am even able to see a little person when I look at scans! Really not my strong point.

Oh, I get so excited when you guys talk about shopping. Can't wait for mine to begin. As soon as I know the sex of the Peanut, I am off shopping. Bought a lot of yellow and green stuff first time round and never put them on

I am thinking (and hoping) another LG, but I don't mind that much. Pity that my inlaws are set on a boy, making me a little down in the dumps! Children are such a gift, regardless of the sex. But ja, enough said about that!

Trying to book a 4D for next week, since I'll be 15 weeks and only going to gynae at 18 weeks again. Want to see my baby

Wondering how much more time I can get off work without it seeming as if I am too lazy too work????

Oh, did I mention that my medical aid is "uitgeput" and I need to pay for every gynae visit out of my own pocket. Yah for me! Really pissed off at Discovery. Last year we were on Keycare Plus and EVERYONE of my scan was covered except the last 2. Now I am on Essential Saver and I need to pay for my first scan! Wish I knew before hand that paying more doesn't make it better value. And might I add that we pay about a R1000 more now than last year

And so we learn.....

chris, the dr isn't really sure what it is. He says that boys jewels are normaly higher positioned & that girls jewels are normally lower positioned. So we still don't know. Have to wait until 2 September. Hopefully we can found out by then.
