Jan/Feb 2011 Mommies (Nov & Dec 2010 early babes)

Hi ladies,

Binx, we went to the SAMBA seminar this weekedn tand the lady there with triplets used minimum 750 nappies, 500/3 is about +-5 nappies each, which in the beginning I dont think is right cos they will be feeding more often. So yup, nappies is going to be a bit of a problem, we asked out cloth nappies, they did try them but their washing machine was on 2/3 times a day, so its electricy, water, powder, so with 3 babies it might not be such a great idea.

Anyway, the seminar was very nice, made a realise how much we are really in for, yet it has made us even more excited. They gave us a gift bag with 3 Nuk bottles (smaller ones), 3 avent dummies, creams, a pigeon paediatric bottle, magazines, bath stuff for mom, shirt for dad and mom, umm, a few other stuff cant remember. Then they had raffles, it was 10 (I didn't realise for 6) so I bought 3... dh and I got 4 of the 6 raffles () but the 4th one I said they must re-raffle cos I had one of those anyway, so from the raffles we got an avent sterilser, naartjie clothing gift voucher and a photoshoot voucher valued at R750, we were very chuffed, and a tad embarassed, lol.

DH and I went for our scan this morning, it was soooo cute, they were boucning around and moving their arms and legs, the one was more relaxed than the others but as soon as the scan moved that one moved, it was really so special to see, they took turns. As the scan moved to the other baby, the arms went up staright away as if to say Hi mommy and daddy, it was just really so cute and special.

Babies measured 12w, and other 2 11w5d, so dr happy with the growth and progress, shoo, I was stressing about that.

Im going in tomorrow to have the Shirodkah stitch put in, so going to be out tomorrow, was going to go in 2weeks, but he said tomorrow will be better.

Mina mine is the Angel Sound fetal doppler and works really well. The heartbeat is so loud now! But by mid August you should be feeling movement everyday! If I spot one on the net somewhere i'll let you know. Try not stress about the movement. It's really early to feel movement everyday

Meags I heard the heartbeat for the first time at home at 12 weeks.

sorry to butt in...for the ladies who have a doppler, at how many weeks were you able to start using it??

I had a really nice weekend. Glad it is over though, I am getting closer to Friday for my scan. I felt baba moving a lot but didn't feel anything this weekend so I am a bit stressed.

Chan what is the name of your doppler? I found a place that sell the Angelsound fetal doppler for R450 including the gel, but they don't have stock will have middle august. Not sure if I will still need it then, cause by that time baba should be kicking up a storm.

Aspoestertjie, my next appointment is the 29th and i'll also be 13weeks by then. Can't wait!!

I'm just having a bit of low blood presure AGAIN (normal for me - just more often when i'm preggies), almost fainted 2twise this morning before work, i just got down on the kitchen floor before i wanted to faint - and maybe hit my head or something so i played it safe to go down before i fall, cause DH was still alsleep - but feeling ok now, have a bit of a flu "griep" as well, think that may be the cause.
But life isn't standing still this mommy has to work.

Well hubby was home for the weekend and had to go back this am boohoo.

My lg is sick with teething again i have no clean clothes left.

But all in all everything well, babe still doing ok as far as i know.

Chris 500 is a lot you should ask for just nappies at your baby shower buying the clothes is cheaper!!!!
