Morning :woohoo:

So much activity on the thread it's hard to keep up!

Philipajane, hope you are getting better.

Solo, you cracked me up! Thank G_d you weren't sitting on the chair when it broke otherwise we all know what everyone at your office would be thinking! I went to that thread you were reading yesterday & i am one of those, head in the sand, bum in the air moms to be! :P

About the weight... Dr Rey, the king of plastic surgery says anything up to 13kgs is fine :P It's amazing how many of you have gained so little! All i know is i still fit into my size 8 pants so i'm good, it's only tops that i've changed sizes cause of the belly. As long as the babies are developing well i don't think it matters whether you balloon up or shrink. :side:

So I've given up on the prunes and sent our driver out for some samoosas. The curry and all should sort me out in no time hehe.

Betty_F thanks for the reassurance! So am I correct in assuming that I may as well write the next two years off to sleep deprivation and mushy mommy brain? :) the more I read the "fine print" posts and see the comments like "hats off to single moms" that I start getting heart palpitations and panic attacks!!!!!!

I'm tired, sooo very tired that I can hardly put one swollen foot in front of the other. I suppose pregnancy tiredness is one way of conditioning our bodies and minds for the lack of sleep once baba is born.

Anyone having fun with choosing baby names? I seem to be incapable of finding one name (boy or girl) that I fancy. What a decision to make!

Philipajane how are you feeling today? Thinking of you. Btw your cot set is absolutely stunning. Love it :)

Rakker where is the factory shop in Honeydew? I need to do some shopping - urgently!!!! Lol

Weeskind I have to admit that I am slightly envious!!! My weight gain is also confdential, but Dr seems ok with it. Dr says 500g per week is acceptable. I feel and look like a whale! I keep on telling myself that its for a good cause :). But bf is not impressed with having a fat gf. Men are so shallow. Or is it just my bf who is so shallow?

Afm, well my office chair broke yesterday - not related to my expanding body ;)! So my boss is fixing it, in the meantime I'm trying to make myself comfortable on a horrid secretaries chair. Scary thing is that I was lucky I wasn't sitting on it when it sheared in two!
Otherwise I am having to munch on prunes again....hmmm.... yum? Not!!!!!

Weeskind, that is amazing. My weight gain is strictly confidential...

AFM: I bought 2 Playtex feeding bras at the factory shop in Honeydew. Not sure how well they will work, will have to wait and see. Cost R150 for 2. Not bad! I showed DH how it works, and his comment? "Kinky". Men :side: :silly: :P !

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Solo - saw the thread on the fine print..., it is hectic having a LO and comes as a shock to ones system. The sleepless nights. Nothing worse than sleep depravation. I remember when M was a baby I thought to myself what have I done to my life... After 2 years things get better and then you start thinking about having another baby...nuts.

Phillipajane hope you feel better soon. Take it easy..

Ertjie amazing to keep gender a surprise. Hopefully no more cramps for you. I have also noticed that I get cramps if I over exert myself. Time to start relaxing.

Wow weeskind - can't believe you have lost so much weight. I weighed myself this morning and have gained 6 kg...how much is a healthy weight gain? Oh well I am not very pleased with the gain a hope I don't struggle to loose it again. With M it took me 2 years and then I was still6 kg over.

Wishing you all a great evening.

Mom to Matthew, born 8 March 2008
baby girl due 29 April 2011

Hello Weeskind. I can't believe you managed to lose so much weight during pregnancy. :silly: & Yes, maybe baba wants to surprise you. That should be fun!

Hello Solo, Ertjie 1, Rakker & TaNasha.

Enjoy your evening ladies. Just wanted to check in and say hi. I'll chat more from home if the thread is busy.
