Solo - have you had your stitches out? I found ones that was done then it wasnt as sore but I still have dull pain now from time to time. Get more pain meds - I STILL have some left from the hospital. They gave me normal ibuprofen which you can get at the chemist.

MandyMel - maybe find some pilates/yoga classes to do? They can help strengthen all the muscles down there.

Update from our house - I had a meeting with a lactation consultant because that pain was getting worse and worse. It was a "blep" - it is where a duct/pore gets overgrown with skin so its blocked basically and forms a small white pimple. It is apparently the most painful thing to get during breastfeeding and can happen at any time and can re-occur or be once off. So I put olive oil on, applied heat and let baby suck!! It appears to have opened but is still a little sore but at least now I have the lactation lady on call

Jack has started fighting sleep and it is SO frustrating. He is exhausted but will not sleep We are trying not to get into the habit of rocking to sleep so I will rock until he is nearly asleep and then put him down but then he HOWLS until I pick him up. It is exhausting cos I spent all day yesterday with him in my arms!!!!!

He sleeps fine at night and will go down fine then as well - its just the day!

Mornings. Ag, I have been so mia again! Sorry....

Tanasha, glad the tests were negative! Don't stress too much about the size. K is almost 6 weeks and I don't think he's even reached his predicted birth weight.

I finally discovered the calora store. I bought 5 of those nonspill bowls

K is doing very well. He suddenly seems so much bigger today. Tomorrow we're going for his 6 weeks paed visit. So I can ask all my questions. And on friday its vaccination time

Just popping in to say hi and see how everyone is doing...my DH went back to work today and he dropped our son with my mom so Mia and i got a chnace to bond for the first time today...She's reali too precious and sleeps alot during the day but then she's up at night which is not really all that good...

My mom says we need to give lots of attention to our 1yr old as well as she can see his very clingy and weepy today...i think his starting to notice the new addittion to the family..Gosh, this is gonna be tough, coping with 2 babies at the same time!

Still very sore down their and i've noticed that i have almost no bladder control, if i feel i need to wee then i must run coz i can't even pinch anymore..i just hope it doesn't stay like this forever..

My GTT test came back fine, so looks like I am just having a huge baby! I plan on having a 100% natural birth, so this is starting to scare me abit! Otherwise no other news, I am just waiting and waiting....

Congrats Noelene am glad baby is fine. and once again congrats MendMel thats works of a champion.
@Solo am also going through the final fazes of the pain and was wondering if you have removed your stitches, i am tethering and all i did not go back to the hospital on Monday to be give a date. So now i dont know when i will get them removed,
My Milk is overwhelming both me and Lelam, she just can not finish the milk and now have jumbo sized breasts that are sometimes soo painful or just spilling everywhere. For now the baby sleeps more and more and has to be woken to drink milk or change nappy which is wierd as my first two were howlers that just filled the whole are with dread.
I also struggled with the sore nipples and now its almost gone, i guess the more the baby suckles the more they nature and become better.

I am finding myself generally exhausted with some mild headache but i am almost through with the wound pain and am standing up with a bit more ease.
