Solo - Thanks! The moment I saw my hubby's face this afternoon, I felt a whole lot better. Hormones out of control! Over-sensitive and very emotional! Guess it's part of the package!

haha

Welcome Tshepym01!

Phillipajane, good luck with your exams! When I was pregnant with K, I had to write unisa exams with morning sickness. It wasn't so pleasant but luckily you're allowed to take in chips or water/ cooldrink... they can't argue with a pregnant woman who's about to throw up!

My boobs have only seriously begun to increase in size the past week or so..... and soooooooooooooo sore.. eina. Can't even sleep on my stomach anymore.

tanz, try sucking on some Sparkles throughout the day... and eat before you even get hungry. That should help a bit. Ginger beer too, apparently, but I can't say it helped me all that much. SO glad that the bleeding has stopped, that's wonderful.

We are only on a hospital plan, so we have to pay for eeeeeevery gynae consultation. I think as long as you go to your gynae for the NB scans (down syndrome @ 13 weeks and foetal anamoly @ 24 weeks) then you shouldn't have to worry about going to a GP... especially if you can save money in the process.

I'm so paranoid. My nausea has basically stopped, but I think it's my body getting used to the hormones now? Our next scan is only in 2 weeks' time. Well the tiredness and sore boobs probably make up for the lacking symptoms.

Anyway hope you all had a good day :)

Morning everyone! So cool that we're already kinda on the topic of medical aid, as I was just popping in to ask which ICD10 codes your medical aids cover.

I've just registered on Momentum Health's Maternity Benefit programme and got a list of ICD10 codes from them.
Was also wondering how the whole covering of scans thing work.

My first appointment with my gynae is on 12 November, and I will definitely be asking her about how her usual way of doing things fits in with what our medical aid covers.
