Aha - I made cupcakes for my work colleagues coz we had a meeting on the monday following my 13 week scan - they do not need to know before hand and you will laugh about how oblivious ppl can be

Solo - I collected my Vitality baby bag today - exactly what i expected and really like the stuff in there (bag is bright orange lol) - worth the 12 week wait

Ertjie - what an amazing scan! Wow!
Liezelb - I didn't have any hectic symptoms with my first pregnancy, just count yourself lucky.
I haven't told everyone at wrok yet - but will have to soon - I'm sure they think I'm just getting fat! LOL!

Tanz - the scan photo is so nice... what a keep sake! Could you perhaps hear a heart beat so early on?

I am going for my first scan on Monday and I cannot wait...

Still very worried that I feel so good... apart from going to bed a bit earlier I cannot complain about pregnancy symptoms... oh and apart from the fact that I cannot stop eating... but will discuss with dr on Monday.

The family and everyone around me is speculating (and I think gossiping) about me being pregnant.... you will not believe the assumptions people start making from little things like when you start swopping coffee for rooibos and wine for grapefruit juice (or ice tea).... ha ha ha...

It is really hard trying to hide (or not confirm) a pregnancy with the feastive season on hand... have 3 christmas office parties, 2 weekends away and 1 children party (where champaing is going to be served to the mommies) to work through this month... and then it is only December... not complaining just saying that its not so easy to be pregnant and not having the people around you notice...

To all the other May, June and July mommies: I hope you are doing brilliantly!!!

Oh by the way I have a friend that is 8 months pregnant and expect her baby boy the first week in December, she is dying in this heat. All that I can think of when she complains is that we are all lucky and will be that far along when it is much cooler...

O well, off I go to endeavour to clean my desk...
