Hello Girls

Ive been MIA, i know, but I still love you all very much !

Anyhoo, I went for my first scan yesterday and you guys will not believe what happened ... We are expecting twins ... yip, I kid you not two sacs and two heartbeat s - im still shocked but very excited!

BOB- how did it go ?

great news about the heart beat. its so reassuring to see it... i remember with my son, i hadnt been emotional at all until that scan. when i saw the little heart beat i couldnt help but cry either.
somehow its suddenly so real. anyway, glad you can relax now and have a fabulous holiday.

Hi girls!

Sorry I haven't updated yet been running around trying to catch up at work after our nice holiday. I see there's a few new faces here as well! At least only 3 working days left then on holiday again for our annual shut down whoohoo

Went for our scan today, it is sooo surreal. It's the most amazing feeling - even if we only saw a little spec we could see the heart beating today!!!! It's such a great feeling and I really thank God for this wonderful miracle. I'm so looking forward to the rest of the scans now - can't wait!! Dr is happy with how baba implanted and how everything is looking so we're very very happy!

BOB - Good luck with your scan tomorrow! It sort of sinks in after that first scan - it's an amazing feeling! I was sobbing the entire morning.

As for any symptoms I have none - except for fatigue and that's about it! We'll see if MS starts hitting this week

good luck with your appointment. I see you will be 6 weeks then?
not sure if you are going to get an internal scan, but if you are- try not to stress if you dont see a heart beat or if there is one, but its rate is fairly low. i may be corrected, but i think 6 weeks is still really early to see one.

Hey Ladies

i have my 1st appointment tomorrow and the nerves are really beginning to get to me, I have 2 friends that were happlily pregnant and then when they went for the 1st scan the dr told them that there was no heatbeat and that it was one of those pregnancy's were the baby did not form but the placenta did, ive never heard of that until my friends experienced it.

Urgh but on the plus side i think i had my first wave of MS ...it was horribly the best experience of my life..lol

and Hapi i get you when you say ur boobs are so heavy and sore ...

So any of you guys been for ur 1st check up yet?

Hapi if you have the url code (from lillipie or baby-gaga) then you need to go to MY PROFILE --> EDIT --> UPDATE PROFILE --> FORUM --> and then you add the code in signature.
