Esmé is such a good baby, and we are getting a decent nights sleep every day, so I have no complaints here! I just love being a mommy.

Sindarella - Congrats on the birth of your LO! Can't wait to hear some details! Enjoy this precious time with your new family!

Ankia - yay - almost time for maternity leave And not long till you meet you LO too!

Well I am still at work, got 4 days left including today - can not wait to get this week over.
Sussa is still snugg and safe and I am sure she will only come next week.

Hi all,

Well, in a few hours I'm going in for c-section. At scan on Monday nothing had changed ito position and obviously baby just getting bigger.... I'm at peace that it will be safer for both of us this way. I also had a long talk with baba on Saturday explaining what is needed and what will happen either way, so, this is what is meant to be.

Was a hectic and emotional day getting last few things organized, now I'm off to bed and will be in theater just after 10 - how unreal is this!!!!

Next time we speak I'll be a mom, wow, still so unreal!!!

So I just came back from the midwife
All is fine - they say that she has dropped a bit
But my LG is still very snugg and safe
She suggested reflexology, if I want her to come this week, but I will rather wait this week out and finish work and then do it next week if she is not here yet

Skai, that is too funny I've had a few dreams of baby's birth, both natural and CS, but the strange thing is that in all my dreams it is always a girl, will be interesting to see when this LO actually makes its appearance. I really have no preference boy/girl and find it funny that is always a girl that I dream about.

Well, no further action from LO..... tomorrow I'm 40weeks, all I can say is wow, never thought it would go so fast!!! Had obgyn visit yesterday and nothing has changed ito baby's size and position, still big baba that is facing upward. My dr won't even consider induction, which I'm very glad about as I would have refused that in any case.

So, the plan of action is to give baby the weekend to either turn or for labour to start. Then I'll pop in to obgyn Monday for a quick scan and if nothing has changed, I'll go in Tuesday for a CS. I'm completely at ease about this and comfortable with the decision, so, whatever will be, will be!! Only request from my obgyn was that baby must please not decide to come on Sunday at 10:30!! Took me a moment to realize he was talking about the first game of the Springboks in the WC
