Laliek and Ankia - thank you for the reassurance. The girls are happy and very busy in here, that does make me feel better that I can feel them. I can almost tell them apart now. their heartbeats are also which is also such a comfort.

Laliek, so glad you finally came to a decision that is right for you. 13 weeks ... wow! how time flies. very chuffed for you that C is doing so well - big boy hey !!!

By all indications and from what doc said, the girls will be born on 01 August , hopefully nothing changes. so that means Im left with 12 weeks, shooo!

Ankies yip, doctor won't take him out before 38 weeks but he'll have a look at 36 weeks to see how he measures and if he's breech and if everything looks good etc, then if I change my mind and want to natural I can otherwise c-section will be scheduled for 38 weeks!

When are you seeing midwife again? And how's your little angel girl doing? Good luck with the toddler at work! I'm working from home today but haven't been very productive AT ALL!

Wow laliek - you have such a big boy
I am very glad that you made a decision about going for a c-section. You must be comfortable with the decision and I am glad you are.
Laliek try and do the c-section as close to birth date as possible, so you know that he is ready, but I am sure he will be ready, he sounds nice and big.
They say if you take the measurements at 31 weeks and times it by 2, that is how big your baby will be at full term, so that will be nice to see if that is true.

Hapi, it is very difficult to tell you not to worry, but it is better for you and the babies. I am sure they will catch up, if you read Vix story you will see that her babies was about 2 weeks apart in growth, and they are doing so great now.

i have my 2 year old in the office today, we are not busy, but he is keeping me busy for sure

Hi there girls

Hope you are all doing well?

I hope those with flu and colds get better soon! I woke up this morning with sniffles but luckily don't feel sick yet. Candibez I also use Iliadin (since I suffered from bad sinus infection about 2 months ago).

Hapi - I'm sure everything will be fine with your little angels. I know, it's darn difficult not to worry too much! I hope they catch up in the weight dept very soon. I'm sure they'll both be healthy and happy :)

AFM: Had a gynae appointment on Tuesday afternoon. I was 24w4d at that point and Cameron jumped from 389g at 20weeks to 920g!! He's huge! Doctor said I can expect he's going to be a healthy and big baby.

I also made a personal decision after my husband and I had a chat and we decided to go c-section route. I quite like my gynae, he said to me he thinks it's a wise decision but I can still see how everything looks at 36w and if I want to try natural I can, and if I still want a c-section he'll book it for me. So anycase, I'm pretty sure I'm sticking with my decision now, everything that happened (my appointment at midwife where she said fibroid could be problem at birth, plus the fact that I'm A-minus blood type, now Cameron expected to be quite big etc etc) I feel alot more comfortable with my decision. So that means I'll be a July mommy - he'll be born around 28 July I think. That means I have 13 weeks left!! I'm so so so excited!!

hi there

trust everyone had a fab long weekend. we just lazed around and diddnt get up to much.

We just went to the Rand Show, pity I couldnt get on to the rides - thats one of my absolute favourites when we go to shows.

Candibez, congrats about the thumping and sorry about the flu. Same as Gabi, I had the flu last week as well and doc refused to prescribe anything. He just said to take panado, eat lots of citrus fruits for vitamin C and just sleep it off. It worked wonders for me.

Gabi, all the best with sorting everything out, moving house can be so traumatic. Shame hope you didnt get hurt on monday when you fell.

AFM, just got back from my monthly gynae check up and all is well with the twins. doc seemed a bit worried though about the growth gap between the 2. one is weighing 714 grams the other 687 grams. He said that it is still within range but his worry is that it is widening. He said for now he will just monitor them but reminded me that because they are not identical such is to be expected plus the fact that they were concieved a day or two apart also counts. I cant help but worry though !!

later !

Hi Ladies

Been so so busy, moving house this weekend! My house is just a maze of boxes. This is gonna be such an easy move for me, I get to just sit and direct everyone where everything goes - my fiance has banned me from picking up anything (i was carrying a box on monday and I fell over)

Shame I see some of you are getting sick - I also got flu, it was really horrible, but now I absolutely swear by bedrest. I slept for the majority of last week and I woke up on Saturday feeling fantastic! So don't struggle going to work stay in bed.

Candi - I also go the Expigen cough syrup OMW it is probably the most disgusting cough syrup I have ever tasted - and you have to leave it in your mouth for like a minute before you swallow! Eww!
For your sore throat try honey and lemon tea - it really works and its all natural.

So my little one is moving so much now - its so awesome!

My newest little preggy symptom is waking up at 03:30 absolutely STARVING! specifically for HOT CROSS BUNS! lucky for me its has been easter so there are tons around.

I can't believe we are all past the halfway mark - the next few months are going to fly by!

Loves!
