It's been very quiet on this Aug mommy thread, looks like we're all busy and working!

I haven't been on here in ages but Hapi, glad to see your still around!

Candibez - good that you put Zoey first, that's the way it should be and bugger the rest!

Candy - if you don't have any history in your family of downs then don't even stress about it. My husband's one cousin has downs and our results were 1 in 16 000 which is excellent, so just enjoy your scan

Annika, hope you get your intelligender soon, how far are you?

Ankies - where are you lately?

AFM: Doing well. I'm starting to show alot more now!! Went for our 20w scan last week and Cameron is 100% healthy and perfect. I bought fabric for his bedding and baby room this weekend and the coming weekend we're going to the baby expo at Emporer's so I can get accessories for his room and a few other things. We'll also be buying the camp cot and car seat and camp cot bedding this weekend! I want to be finished with everything by 34 weeks so I can just relax that last month and wait for him to arrive! So that gives me 14 weeks ie 14 weekends left to do everything which half of those I'll probably be working anycase!! So the time is actually moving closer now and I can't wait anymore!!! So looking forward to everything. We've booked our antenatal classes which we're starting in May and I've also booked my 4D scan for May! Exciting stuff!!

Well I couldn't get the intelligender test so I gave my name and wait for the stock to arrive!

Hello ladies

Been off work for a week, with a 4 week old migraine. Been to the neurologist, Gynea and now the Chiropractor...

All I can say, is avoid and ignore stress.

Clearly, it's what's got to me.

I'm 19 weeks now, and haven't enjoyed much.

I've made a change in my life now, and it's time for my little girl. Put my foot down to nonsense, be it with my inlaws that haven't even acknowledge that i'm pregnant, or that i haven't seen my man for almost 3 months.

Work hasn't been very understanding. But I suppose that's cause i'm the first to fall preggers in my department.

Anywho.

Saw gynea on Thursday, and zoey is doing 100%, she's just a bit stressed with me. cause what they say is true, if you stressed then so is baby.

I have to go to Dr Engela Steyn for a detailed scan. she can only see me the 9th May [I'll be 25 weeks], and hubby will be here too.

Otherwise, its a new week. wishing everyone a good one

Hi ladies,

Had a nice relaxing weekend, stayed at my folks place as my BF worked the whole weekend.

Anyway i just wanted to ask you all to pray for me tomorrow as that is the blood tests that i must do to check down syndrome etc. Also i am really hoping that it will be a good view of baba to finally see if it's a boy or a girl.

Other than that not much else to report, hope you all had a lovely weekend.
