Morning Ladies!

Ok, so i'm back at work, got about 100+ emails to go thru and catch up everything I missed out yesterday,

Joey, I feel your pain! I've always suffered with migraines ever since I can remember... was on meds for it that helped, but not allowed to take them now :(

ASM: Day 8 now of my awesomeness migraine, been to the awesomeness money grabbing doctor, and not nothing, not allowed anything natural at all but panado...

Sooo I've resorted back to my old fashion method of hot and cold packs, and going for physio [head, neck and back massage]...

That helped a bit yesterday, got another appointment today again...

Hot baths make it worse for me, it's like my head is about to burst...
A cool shower, and then i do the oddest thing, I get a bean bag and i put it across my forehead. 15 minutes later i swop with a cold pack behind my neck... and so i go on.. until i pass out...

Hubby is home in 34 days hopefully...

Chat again later, I've got to catch up with what i missed out on...

Candy - mine didn't last long...maybe 5 or 10 minutes at most. Happened again today but was only for a few minutes. Feels really weird... almost like you've got cotton wool stuffed in your ear....or like when you get water in your ear from swimming. Certainly not something I'm bothered by enough to look into taking anything though. Does yours last longer?

Joey - Candibez is probably the best person for advice on headaches....she suffers form migraines so would be able to advise you a bit better I'm sure. Otherwise call your gynae maybe?

Gabi - so sorry to hear about your cyst! Definitely keeping fx that it doesn't get any bigger!

Ankia - well done for managing your vits again...even if it is difficult! Have you tried spreading out when you take them throughout the day? I sometimes have to leave my fish oils till later otherwise I also struggle...

Hi Ladies

Sorry I have been so quiet - work is so hectic.

Yesterday I saw my Gynae about the cyst they found in the NT scan I had done last week. The cyst is 5cm and the doc said the only thing they can do is monitor it - if it get any bigger (like 8cm) them I will need to have it removed.......which I am so not keen on!

So I have been doing some reading on introducing baby to your dogs at home, one thing that is suggested is to buy a baby doll and pretend its your baby and see how the dogs react. It was really quite funny yesterday, our male staffie could not care less about this thing we were fussing over and the female foxy was all over it. If we left it on the couch she was immediately there laying right next to it - maybe her mommy instincts were kicking in!

The other thing that was suggested was to start weaning your attention on the dogs - so that when baby does come they are used to been ignored, which I just can't bring myself to do! I have 2 very happy little dogs that we absolutely adore, I can't bear not showering them with love like we always do.

Joey - with the headaches I find drinking water and just laying down quietly helps.

Love to all MWAH
