Gabi - great news about the little one, but it must have been hectic waiting until you knew , just be happy that you got to watch some baby tv for a while, i would love just to watch the noodle all day, when the dr shows us the scan its so amazing to see how the baby moves and his actions.

Ankia - well is it team blue or pink, im going next week and im also very anxious to find out, suddenly the DD changed her mind and she says she wants a brother.

Any one know any factory shops in Durbs....im so jealous that im not in the mother city.

Hapi- how are you and the little jelly beans doing?

Candi & Candibez - hope the m/s is easing up a bit

Wait i forgot to tell u guys I ATE CHICKEN yesterday.....woohooo even the hubby was like yeah finally , now you can cook some real food for us...

Hope u guys have a super weekend, another hot weekend ahead in durbs and i have a function to attend...groan ...ile just wear the pop up gazebo ..cos non of my clothes are fitting now.

Gabi - so glad they were eventually able to get the view they needed of baba.And awesome that you have so many pics now! I agree with the others, rather call your gynae and see what he says. You may well need an earlier appointment...rather get it seen to asap...even if it's nothing to worry about. Peace of mind is priceless.

Ankia - is your scan tomorrow? Can't wait to hear if it's team pink after all...

Candi - Ok, the one factory shop is in Lansdowne. It's called Bee Line and is in Castor Road 9not sure of number) You can always google them The one I went to yesterday is called Baby Things and is on Ottery Rd in the Ottery Value Centre.

Afm, I had my first midwife appointment this morning Was both good and bad. I loved the midwife! She's fantastic. However, they no longer deliver at Constantiberg! So, it looks like I shall be changing hospitals and back-up gynaes. It came as rather a shock so I actually burst into tears...ha ha...hormones But feeling much better after having given it a lot of thought. Vincent Pallotti is a very good hospital and the gynae I think I'll end up moving too sound great. Other than that, baby seems to be fine. Got to hear his heartbeat on the doppler which was awesome

Anyway, hope you are all having a lovely evening and will hopefully get to chat tomorrow.

@Ankia, Hope you don't talk to the white telephone for too long, i'm getting better with that now, but still do have the odd chat here and there.

@Gabs, when in doubt phone phone bug nag, do what you have to do to put yourself at ease, I struggled with bleeding, and after the 3rd opinion, i finally was able to sleep at night. I think Hapi had one [gosh, I could be horribly wrong, sorry Hapi, if i am], and her's went away...

I am feeling great, although I had a conversation with the big white telephone last night, but feeling much better this morning.

Gabi, If you are concerned about the cyst, make an earlier appointment with your gynie, you need to sort this out.

Morning Ladies

Feeling a bit funny this morning, I went for the Nucal Translucency scan yesterday. Baby was not in the right position so the technician struggled for about 30 minutes then told me to go walk around and drink something sweet. After that it took her only about 10 minutes to find what she was looking for. It was rather uncomfortable been scanned for that long, but the best part was been able to see baby for 40 minutes - it was absolutely awesome! Came home with so many scan pics.
Only thing that is worrying me is they found a cyst that is about the size of my uterus at the moment - it explains the constant pain I have been experiencing on my left side - I am not sure if I should be worried about this, when I search on the net there are so many different opinions about the cysts during pregnancy. My next appointment with my Gynae is on the 24th - I'm not sure if I can wait that long for answers..
