Hi lovely ladies,

I just wanted to find out. How do you know when your baby is active, i have heard from about 8 weeks onwards some ladies feel their babies moving. What is it that i am suppose to be feeling or looking out for. My sister said it feels like gas, but i have always had that feeling of gas moving in my tummy before so how will i know which is which ?

morning preggy ladies - i trust you are all well.

Sorry for not being very chatty this week - it's been a bit of a bad one.
I had my scan on Monday morning - baby was lying on it's tummy and dr needed to take the measurements of the nasal bone, nuchal folds etc but the picture was very bad and baby was not playing along. refused to move - only hands and feet were going.
Dr really battled for a long time. I then asked her if it's due to baby's position - she said partly yes but she's not sure whether the nasal bone was there or not due to us having bad visuals and baby refusing to move as well.
so she suggested I go for fetal assessment at Kingsbury asap as it's urgent and has to be done this week. I initially did not want to be tested for Down's etc but the clinic will need these to be done so I had to go and do that as well.
I have managed to get an appointment for tomorrow afternoon - so I have been really anxious since Mon morning to find out that my baby is ok.

Hi BoB - I haven't experienced anything like that (yet) but I'm sure you aren't alone! All I can say is try to remember to do your kegel exercises everyday Love your story about the keys...ha ha...

I'm not gonna be around to chat much today...going off to look at dishwashers and microwaves Busy organizing to have out little kitchen redone. Was supposed to be done a year ago but ended up needing some of the money for something else and has taken us this long to save up again. And I am adamant that it gets done asap! It's going to be a messy job but will be so worth it in the end....I dream of decent counter space and a dishwasher... Aaaah, bliss...
