We are thinking of a wild life or Farm animal theme. I think its one that we could use for a boy or girl

Thankfully I've never had to go through any of that, but honestly, it's terrible to think that there are gynaes out there that are like that. There should be a website where you can rate their service for all to see, cause they shouldn't be allowed to treat you like that and then at the end of the day still take your money.

Thanks for all your warm welcomes And congratulations to all of you beautiful mommies-to-be also.

I stay in Edenvale, on the East Rand. Have been out this side of a couple of years now, quite like the closeness to most things.

A little about me, i just turned 35 and this is going to be my first baby. Must admit i have been quite panicky about this pregnancy with my age thing and it always is on my mind. Before i fell pregnant i was smoking and socially drinking. I found out on the 27 December that i was Preggies, and felt so guitly as on Christmas day my friends hubby was just handing out doubl tequila shooters. That played on my guilt for a while, and when i went for my 13 week scan and actually saw baba moving and kicking, i felt a bit more releived.

Dont know if you ladies have had maybe the same probs as me, I have not been happy with my first two gynaes, and am now going to try number 3. the 2nd one was a real ass, and whenever i would ask him question he would be really sarcastic and not really be interested, i hate feeling like i am just a paycheck. I want one i can feel comportable with and ask my questions even if they are stupid questions. Now i am going to try Dr van der Westhuisen in Clinton hospital, i hear he is very nice.

Sorry I was MIA yesterday. I was out most of the day and then when I got home I was just feeling so exhausted I didn't even have the energy to chat. Had such a good nights sleep though so feeling much better today!

Forgot to tell you all, I got an email a couple of days ago telling me I'd won a Cherubs competition! It's a hamper full of Cherubs things valued at R200. It arrived this morning....luckily I was home to receive it! So I am now seriously stocked up on wetwipes! And it also has things I wouldn't have bougt but will definitely use...disposable changing mats, nappy sacks and bibs. So I'm rather chuffed Nice start to the day...

Pat - congrats on 12 weeks! It really is a big milestone!

Hapi - Exciting to be able to start planning the nursery! Lavender is a good choice...goes nicely with pinks and blues...

Laliek - so glad you are happy with your birthing choice! Genesis really does sound amazing!
