Its been really hot (well aside from today) so the swelling may also be due to the heat. This time last year I was also 7 months preggers and my feet were the size of balloons - but I had NO health issues at all. Get your BP taken, cut down on your salt - try eat some cucumber or watermelon (natural diuretics (help make you loose excess water)) and go swimming to get cool and take some weight off your feet.

Dr Welliensiek practices at Westville - I'm not aware of anyone whos had issues with him, then there is also another doc (whos name has just escaped me - will think about it) who is highly recommended...

I believe Dr Jack Margolis at Westveille Hospital is pretty good. His 'bed side' manners are not everyones cup of tea but apparently he is good.

Hope all goes well, but like the other ladies have said, go to the clinic/medicross to get checked out if you are not able to get an appointment soon.

If the swelling is mainly in your face or ankles then rather go to the clinic or medicross and get a urine test and have them check your blood pressure.

Given the current heat it is quite normal to have swelling as your body retains fluids etc.

Not cool that he isn't making sure all is okay though.
