Joey, I bought a few cloth nappies from Snugglybum, they are just the cutest nappies! And I'm going to use a few oldfashioned terry cloth nappies with Pep/Woolies waterproofs. I just can't get over the fact that we'll be using R20 000's worth of nappies. I do have a stock of disposables already, will be using them when going out. There is a nice thread on Moomie about cloth nappies, if you have the time to go through it.

Oh, and what a cute, small bump you have there, Joey!!!

Chanz, my DH also cooks for me, he should have been a chef. The mess.....well, I'd rather clean up than do the cooking! LOL!

Sorry for being awol for so long, but we had hubby's other two girls here and there was little time for chatting. Three kids are hard work some days, lol.

Anyhoo, loving all the belly pics, you ladies are so tiny!!!!!!!!!!! My tummy measures 114cm now

Baby boy is doing well and kicking mommy like crazy, cant believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Next scan is on the 1st of Aug and on our previous scan we got the sweetest yawn, was heart-melting

Hello all

Welcome First time mommy, Congrats on you pregnancy. Do you know if you are having a girl or a boy?
I cant really help with the brenthurst my old Gynae deliveries the and i have heard good things. I was just to far for me to travel to go there so. I changed to a gynae at the Olivedale and i'm very happy there.

I'm really starting to get nervous about be coming a mommy now. I only have 11 weeks left. eeeek

are any of you ladies going the re-usable nappy way? We where talking about them last night at Antenatal class and now i'm thinking about going that way.
Did you know that you will most likely use 7000 nappies in the first two years? That really shocked me. All i can see is dumps full of nappies. And it take 30years to biodegrade (sp)
Still not sure what to do. will have to do a lot of reading and chat to someone that does us them.

And that antenatal teacher scared me last night, I was Planning on going natural with Epidural, but she said you can sometimes have a bad reaction with the local anesthetics. the only time i have ever had anesthetics was when i had my wisdom's out and i lost felling in my bottom lip for 6month now she said i showed be very careful about going with the epidural, Going to have our meeting with the labour ward on Tuesday so will see what the sisters say and will ask my doctor on the 4th.
