Oktober & November 2011 Mammas

Hi Everyone

Im not sure how this works, but i would like to share my experiances and feelings with you ladies, reading your msgs just put a smile on my face.

Congradulations to all of you with your little once, im also a november mommy to be. im now 22 weeks and 7days. im a 1st time mom and i have to say im so nervous since this is will be my first experiance as a mom. i havent booked a hospital yet since i dont have medical aid and my fiance and decided to pay cash, but im not sure which private hospitals are good hwen it comes to delivering a baby. im situated in JHB and this stresses me a lot. a friend recomended Brenthurst clinic but im not sure about it, Please advice

Joey, bummer on the geyser Hope it gets sorted. Horrible when things unexpectedly happen that cost alot too.

Gracious, its not easy cooking when you just dont have the energy. My hubby cooks for me and I help sometimes. We sometimes make like a big pot of pasta or stew and eat on it for a couple of days. That usually helps.

Elrike glad you and LO are going great.

Mariet glad your son is getting better. That must have been scary. This flu is horrible. And your LO is growing well.

LOL Lindy I think most men make a mess in the kitchen. My hubby also makes yummy food and a nice mess too but i dont mind coz his food makes up for it lol

Tanz, I am doing better thanks. Each day is a day closer to the 'safe zone' for bubs. We feel very positive

AFM- doing well. DSTV is getting a little boring lol Went to spca today to look for a puppy as a thank you gift for my brother. Such cute doggies there. But can only fetch the puppy after payday . I can't wait to get the travel system next week too. LOL I feel like a kid on christmas day.

Lindy, thanks, I dont feel skinny at all . Sorry about the wipers, but glad you got it fix for less. And better that they broke now and not when it starts raining

Mariet, nope it is not dangerous you just cant have a natural birth. If you tried to then you can die cause of bleeding and then baby will also cause he cant get out the normal way(That is what dr told me, and why many women died during child birth in the old days) I really wanted to to have a VBAC but so far I cant and I am respecting it. If placenta does not move before 32 weeks then it is not going to move and then it is CSec time. I just really want my water to brake and have that experience at least

Ahg No Joey shame man sorry about that, ahg it's terrible when these unexpected expenses come up and disturb all your plans. Thank goodness I got my cheaper otherwise I would have had to write off some of the baby stuff that I wanted. Shame I suggest you just bite the bullet and have both fixed up cause those type of things just tend to get worse and worse and do more and more damage. Shame your electricity must also be getting more with the greaser leaking and continuously re-heating the water. I will ask my brother if he has any advise on fixing it in stead of replacing it. He is a plumber.

Gracious I do cook most nights of the week as my hubby gets home too late for me to wait...I don't like eating after 7 at night. But on weekends I don't cook my hubby makes the best poitjies, roast etc. We usually braai on a Saturday and Sundays are my off days so he always cooks a nice roast or something on a Sunday... He makes one hell of a mess though but I appreciate the effort that he puts in.

Hi all,

At last I am back at work. My son was so sick since last week tuesday. He was in contact with a boy that was diagnosed with swine flu (H1N1). He started coughing really bad and had a high fever. He was on tammi flu for the H1N1 virus, just for incase. Monday we took him back to the doctor and he got some new antibiotics. He is better today but not 100%. I took him to daycare because he is so bored at home and irritated.

Our scan last week went well. It is definitely a boy and he weighs 307 gram. I also have the problem like Lizel that my placenta is lying low and haven't started moving. Is it dangerous for baby?

I am not even going to try and do personals, you really chatted up a storm.
