Oktober & November 2011 Mammas

Hi Ladies,

Seems like I'm a little late in joining this tight-knit group... Looks like a nice bunch, though - so I thought I'd jump in.

I am about 18 weeks pregnant with our first one, which was not entirely planned. But taking my control freak tendancies into account - I don't think I ever would've taken the plunge - without the nudge... But super excited, although I think the grandparents are alot more excited than we are.

I must say I can hardly wait to feel the first real kick - which should be any day now...

Chanz yes I'm thinking of getting one but the one that I like is from fisher price and it's about #.% grand!! but at least that one you can use up to one year. So not sure if it's worth the money.

Has anyone heard from skitterling? Saw her post and was wondering if she is ok?

Ooooh that puppy is too cute LOL DH and I made sure our 3 kittens got fixed recently coz we got 5 cats all together, 3 dogs, 4 dwarf rabbits and one bird. So ja I think our farm doesn't need to get bigger. Its ready for our little one to play with now LOL but I am a sucker when it comes to animals. Struggle to say no.

Oh and yesterday I felt bubs doing serious summersaults while pappa to be was driving. Too precious, it makes you speechless.

Our painting seems to be progressing...lol after moaning at the painters everyday this week. You just can't get good painters/builders or tilers anymore. The babyroom should be done by next weekend. Then all I have to do is wash the carpet and move the furniture in. So excited about that.

How is everyone else feeling with their bumps? Gosh mine seems to have gone through a growth spurt. I can't get up normally and when I sleep I wake up with every turn lol Loving this part of the pregnancy

Is anyone thinking of getting one of those baby swings like the graco?

We have the home and garden show here this weekend so I'm hoping my hubby will take me.

Oh my gosh I wish we could also get a pup but my word can you imagine how buggered I would be by the time the baby arrives?
