We bought the Graco ultima plus for R 500 cheaper than the shops and the bases for the car are also R 150 cheaper.

Joey, the scan is awesome!!! Are u in Jnb? If I'm not mistaken, I think the Cpt baby expo is in July.... I can't wait. What travel system did you buy?

Therese - welcome, and congrats on the twins!! That's great!!! Wow!

So we went for our first scan on Wednesday, what a miracle!! Doctor was really sweet, really like him. I'll try and upload the pic, I can't stop looking at it! It brought tears in our eyes to see the little one move, and to hear the heartbeat! He is 2.98cms, with a heartbeat of 170bpm. Everything look fine and healthy. I have to go back 01 June. I have to go alone, because it is monthend, DH can't get time off work.

So we told everyone at work, most of them are happy for us. Others are just thinking about the time I'm going on maternity leave...... that sucks.

On a brighter side....I saw these cute cloth nappies on facebook, under Monkey Bean Kids. Really cool designs, thinking of getting a few of those! Just for fun!!

Sorry about the late reply friday and this weekend was just so hectic.

Scan went great. Baby W is 15cm long heart beat 147 bmp baby head is 4.3cm already eeel lol. Not the best scan pic.

We went to the baby expo on Saturday. it was awesome. bought our travel system. and toys and and and We spent almost R 6000 there. Ouch there is so much to buy.

Lindy - sorry about all the stress. Hopefully everything will turn out fine. That is shocking that your dr. missed ur blood type! Better that you're with a different one now. Take a nice long bath to relieve the stress...not good for mama or baba!

Kiara - yay on the all clear! Very cool! Now you can relax and enjoy the ride!

Well, today is a big day for us. 12 weeks today and WE HAD OUR FIRST SCAN! Very cool, although not nearly as cool as with my son...I think because now I know that a real live baby is so much cooler than a tummy baby! Baby is good, was sleeping during the entire scan. Measuring a bit bigger than it's age and heart rate 212 - which is a bit fast but I think it was all my adrenaline! Hate seeing new dr's.

Will see the doc again in June. He was a funny doc. When I told him the weight of DS and that it was a natural birth - he just stared at me and said "but ur so small" LOL Then he said "well, no problems with you then, you can do anything!" Hee hee! Was so worth it having a big baby naturally! I love the look of shock!

Thanks Deja, did ring doc and I was advised that I should rather not I feel allot better today though my DH was really awesome and calmed me down.
