Hi ladies, sorry I've been AWOL.
Am still here and baby still staying put....can't believe it.

Elrike, I think you're gonna have Edrich before I have my baby.

Congrats again Deja, your son is beautiful.

I also have that and I need to keep my legs together...a challange trying to get in and out of the car

Claire, what a beautiful room!!....makes me wanna redecorate my kids rooms.

Chanz congrats on Michael's weight, he really is a champ. Please send more pics of him.

Anyway, I think this baby is waiting for 11/11/2011
Started having some contractions @ 2 am this morning, tried to relax and ignore them. finally fell asleep and woke around 6am and timed them.....7 minutes apart lasting a 1minute.
Got up, took shower, fetched kids from my mom's @ 7:30 and took them to school.
Then went to Dept of Labour to hand in UIF forms, had to have a form signed at the bank then a friend invited me for breakfast.....surges were still 7 minutes apart.
Came back home around 12:30 amd took a nap. By then they'd slowed to 15mins apart.

So am sitting here, they're quiet for now. Dont wanna get things moving now coz I'd like to get some sleep.
Will see what tomorrow brings.

Will keep you guys updated.

Hoop al die dokter's afsprake loop goed af vandag,more is my beurt..
Elrike,sterkte vir more dink aan jou! Wens my daggie is al hier ek's uiters ongemaklik my rug pyn en het ook daai weird steek pyne 'down under' lol
Vandag gehoor my ma gaan die geboorte mis,maar sy kom darem in desember kuier.
Skoonma vlieg volgende week van durban af om na boeta te kyk,hoop als gaan goed, ek was nog nooit meer as n paar uur weg van my seuntjie nie.. gelukkig mag my man oorslaap by my in die hospitaal as dit moet.

Deja - dankie vir jou storie! Jy het letterlik vuur onder my boude gemaak! Toe ek lees dat jy jou seuntjie gehad het toe skrik ek wakker en begin tasse pak, omdat ons due dates op dieselfde dag was!! Weereens baue geluk!

I also think Bule has gone into labor!! Please Bule come and update us!!! We are getting worried here!!

Going to the doctor today! Will give you guys an update when I get back!

Deja, love your birth story! Congrats on a beautiful little boy!!! I really hope Iris will also look so chuffed with her brother as Nienke does

Lindy, my hubby goes with to appointments. My doc never did any internals with my LG but this time round he did one @ 36weeks after I'd been having contractions for 3 days. He did it to make sure I wasn't dilating as we live 30mins from hospital if there is NO traffic DH was standing beside me and I just asked him now, he says he wasn't uncomfortable, he is paying the doc to make sure everything is fine... LOL (Dont know if this is TMI, but doc just said, please pull down your pants, I need to check your cervix, he put on a glove & some gel and within seconds it was all over. Oh and he still apologised for hurting me, which it didn't.. )
Nice of your hubby's work to give him a shower!

I've got 9days left... My LG surprised us when I was this far with her, but it seems her brother is a true man and making his mommy wait as long as possible... Seeing the doc this afternoon and then again on the 18th (EDD). Hoping he has good news for us....

Tell me ladies does your hubbies go with you to your dr's appointments? My hubby has been a champ and he has been with me to every single visit accept for the one where he was in China....I'm asking because I don't know what to expect with the internals at the doc's? Will it be ok for hubby to be in the room I don't want him to feel awkward cause the internal scan are different. Can anyone tell me what to expect Tanz maybe u can tell me after u saw the doc today?
