Been to the doctor! Everything is looking perfect. He is lying Face to Pubes, that is why I have sore between the legs... Dr said it is normal... Edrich weighs about 3kg at this stage! I'll see him next week again, then we will phone the anaesthetist and ask him to do us a favour for the Friday 11th...! So please ladies, hold thumbs!!!

We are going now to the dr to see the LO... Then we should get the actual date of Edrich to be born.... Still have a funny feeling about this week, but will see... Still hope for the 11th!

I am not at all in the mood for working! I am sooooo tired! And for some reason, extremely emotional all of a sudden! I constantly feel like crying for no reason really! Just not in the mood to do anyting else but sleep...

Skitter - Hope you are still enjoying your little man??

I getting more excited and scared as time passes... And I have quite the insensitive doctor! This morning she asked me if I was afraid of giving birth. I said yes. She asked why? I said because you know how it is when every woman has a terrible story to tell about how bad it was!! She said: Ag toemaar, die goeie nuus is, ek het nog nooit gehoor van 'n baba wat nie uitgekom het nie. Dit sal gebeur"

Seriaaaasssss???? That makes me feel wonderful! My mother always says - net voor jy doodgaan, is dit verby!!!

Hello Ladies

Just popping in quick before Mr wakes up Will do personals later

So Michael was discharged yesterday morning. Man I cried when we got that phone call. Its like we waited our whole lives for the day we get to take our baby home. And yesterday exactly that happened.
My DH was so proud, love him to bits for being so awesome.
We got home around 11am yesterday. Michael has been so good. Waking up every 3 hours. Never cries for no reason. As long as he has a clean nappy, been fed and warm then he is happy chappy
Still trying to get him onto breastmilk only. It seems my boobs have learnt that the pump isn't Michael, so pumping with the elctric pump doesnt really work anymore. I have to express in the shower by hand to get relief. Michael is latching (well I thinking he is ) but he will suck for a while and when he stops he very eagerly looks for more. SO we are doing top up feeds for now. Phoned my midwife yesterday who said I must come see her in a weeks time. SO hopefully by then we should be ok and if not then she can give some advice on what to do.

I am really LOVING motherhood. Its really amazing
Anyway Mr is going to wake up soon for his feed then we are all off to bed

With the kids over at my mom's I am doing so well. Not as tired anymore and have more energy. DH had to go to PE overnight last night and oh, how wonderful it was to be alone.
I feel sooooo well rested this morning, and I woke up at 5 am.
Had to have blood taken this morning to test for Iron levels, my arms is feeling a little eina

It really is the final countdown now to my ML, just 3 days left.....

I have been up to something lately. Please have a look at this thread and tell me what you think...
