Just been to the doctor!!! Weiss is doing perfect. He weighs about 1.4kg! Measure about 30 weeks, but I'm now 28 weeks! Dr, is not worried! Busy booking my bed at Flora... Doctor also said, we will see about the 11/11/2011. That would be so cool!

Placenta is in the right position, baby lies head down, everything is 100% I'm so happy! Will post the link to the video tonight!!

How's everyone doing? Sorry I've been MIA.... I think there is something wrong with my pc's internet connection, struggeling to get onto the sight. And my phone need a software upgrade........ drama drama drama.

Not going to do personals, still need to read through everything. Just saw Joey's baba is doing great!!! Yay!!! I'm glad for you girl!!!

My little one is kicking up a storm, so funny.....at night when we go to bed, DH tells baby not to be naughty, he must go to sleep. And instantly he calms down. Hehehe, daddy spoke!!

I've gained about 20kg's, I feel like an elephant, and I'm not eating that much to be honest. Grrrrrrrrr, can't wait to get my body back!!

I saw something about a baby expo? Is it really worth it to there? There is a baby expo in Oct in CPT again, I want to go, but don't want to waste my money. Is the stuff there cheaper than in the shops?

Sorry been so quiet, Have been busy and have not had much to say think I had a couple of down days.

I see we are talking about Birth plan. I have not got one, do you think its a must. The doctor and hospital know that i want Natural . And I think they will do what is best for me and Baby.

Chanz Sorry the medical aid is giving you trouble. I think they are just there to stress us out.

We went for a scan this morning our little womb monkey is doing great. Doctor is very happy He or she is weighing around 2.6kg. Head is very big measuring around 38week.
Rest is about 35 weeks. Already for birth head is down.
Getting really excited to meet our little monkey.

We have Decided to send Baby to my MIL next year for at least the first 6 months and look again in June or July about Creches. But I am in two minds about it. think we have up set my SIL

Cant believe i only have 5weeks left.

Baby hospital baby is packed still got to do mine.

Going to be a hectic weekend for me it is My BFF baby shower on Saturday for 10 - 4pm and on Sunday my niece turns 1 and her part is from 11 - 5pm. Think i'm going to sleep and be in bed the other hours.
I'm getting to pregnant to be out that long. And my feet kill me if i'm only out for 2 hours don't know how i'm going to do 6hours.

Chanz, My medical aid only pay for 2 scans, but my dr does one every time. She does not work through a medical aid anymore so it is R400.00 each time I see her. I know how you feel regarding the birth I am in the same boat. I want natural, but I am not putting my hart on it like last time. What happens, happens one way or the other she is going to come out

Hello pregnant fairies

Sjoe you all been so quiet I am sure you all have good reason. But we miss yooouuu lol

So how is everyone feeling?

Gosh I feel huge. Simple things arent simple anymore lol. Had a shower the other day and shaving was like running a marathon. Wish I had a magic wand used during pregnancy. Just to help for those times you know

Lindy - saw your baby shower pics. You got spoilt girl!!! Such a precious time. Glad you enjoyed it. The expo sounded like alot of fun too. I was planning on going with my sister but that was before my complications. But will definitely go next year

Sjoe Logansmom, its almost time for you. Can't wait for one our moomies to have their babies. Its gonna make us all super broody lol.

Sjoe Claire, a tummy bug is so not cool. It leaves you feeling so drained. Shame man, I hope you all feeling better now. Well medical aid replied today saying they will pay but then I noticed in the letter that it had two codes and times 1 next to it. So emailed asking what exactly those codes represent and if it means only one consult till baby is born. Because if thats the case then that means I will most probably be admitted About the birth, sjoe, my gynae keeps saying lets just take each day as it comes. he knows how much I would love a natural birth but i think, given my history he doesnt want to make promises. He is a doctor for natural birth and for csecs. So I have peace that he wont bully me into anything, but only do whats best for us both. Its a little frustrating for me because I like to know in which direction we are heading so I can prepare myself. But at the same time I have made peace that as long as bubs comes out healthy then it won't matter which way he came into the world Luckily my gynaes wife works with him who is also a midwife. But one thing is for sure, i might not have control over what birth I have but I am adamant about breastfeeding

Hope you are all doing great! We are busy, that is why I don't post that often!! Weiss is kicking me at places I didn't even know I have... LOL See the doc tommorrow! Can't wait!! Then I need to book my hospital bed... and discuss the c-sec date... Hope I can get dr to do the c-sec 11/11/2011!! All depends on Weiss... Maybe he might decide to come a little earlier!!

I'm still busy making the curtains for the baby room, hope to finish it by the end of this week!!

Had a hectic 2 weeks! whole family was down with a tummy bug and we had no phone line. Been checking in on my phone but much easier to post this way! Sorry for being so quiet.

Lizel - my sister is also terrified for another c-sec. She says it was so sore last time! At least you know what to expect...maybe it'll be easier the second time? It's a pity your placenta isn't playing along.

Chanz - congrats on 28 weeks and a great weight! I'm sure you'll make it to term. I really hope your medical aid agrees to pay...not nice to have to worry about medical bills now. If they can get away with it they will though.
I keep meaning to ask you...is there a reason why you think a c-sec would be safer than natural? I know with risky pregnancies the dr. prefers to do c-secs but I don't think your particular complication is one of them? The reason I ask is because c-secs have a higher maternal mortality rate (it is a major abdominal surgery) and the risks are greater to baby too. Baby really benefits from a natural birth as it completely clears the lungs of fluid and the stress causes them to release a hormone which helps them to thrive. If the dr. is giving you the choice, he must think that it is not risky. Of course, if the risks of natural birth outweigh the risks of a c-sec, the choice is easy. That's why I'm just wondering what the risks for you would be? What does your dr recommend?

LogansMom - getting close hey? What theme have you settled on now? I also feel like this pregnancy is flying by! The first time seems to last forever!

My baby is moving so much these days. It feels like baba is in the right spot now. Will have to wait and see. I need to write a birth plan before my next appointment (the 7th) Dh is insisting. Don't know where to start. Is anyone else doing one?
