Big hi to everyone I missed now, hope you are all well and babies kicking up a storm

AFU, we are well, baby is laying head down and engaged. Growing good and mommy is massive and very uncomfortable. But getting there.....Seems like we will be going natural without painkillers for birth.....trying hard not to freak out yet, but hoping for the best. Heartburn is so bad that I throw up because of it just about every night. Living on rennies and gaviscon (I blame that for the weight gain )

Jammer ek was so stil die laaste paar dae, maar dit gaan maar wild en woes hier by ons!!! Ek kry nie ers kans om te kom inloer nie!

Dit gaan goed met ons! Ek kry net nou erg sooibrand. Nog iets wat ek nie regtig ken nie, want ek het niks met Luwan gehad nie. Babatjie is vrek besig - hy skop, wild en wakker, die hele dag! Ek kan nie wag om die manntjie te ontmoet nie!! Ek het 'n foto vroeer die week geneem van my maag... Ek voel massive - het vanoggend myself geweeg en ek het nou amper 10kg opgetel.

Bly om te sien dit gaan goed met julle almal!

Chanz, sterkte vir jou. Ek is ook nie iemand wat vir altyd kan kwaad wees nie, en jou ma, bly jou ma... Soos hulle se, bloed is dikker as water!!!

Lindy, my best friend did not come to my shower cause she was not in the mood for people I am still PO at her and it has been 2 years. I am also scared of how things is going to look down there if I go natural But so far I have no clue how this one is going to get out. VBAC has a few hic cups

Liz, dont worry I am lazy 2 will also have gotten someone to do it for me

My MIL skinner the other about me cause I want to try natural again. She said I am to small HOW THE HELL DOES SHE KNOWS, she has not been down there Zelri turned when I was in labour and could not turn back cause the umbilical cord holded her back, it was over her head a few times, neck and stomache

Hello to all the other mommies! Oh yes, Tanz, your LO is gorgeous!!! Real beauty! I also want to do the 4D scans, but there is no facilities in Worcester (where my gynea is), so I'll have to go to Cape Town for that. So we've decided to leave it.

I really want to get the baby room started, we've done nothing yet.

Oh, we went to dr on Monday, Paul is weighing 948grams already! Dr reprimanded me about my weight gain, so I have to be more careful of what I stuff my face with. I've gained 20kgs already. Paul is kicking me so hard, sometimes it hurts .

Joey - how are you feeling?? Almost hey? We can't wait!!!

Shame Chanz that is so so sad sorry (*Hugs*) I'm so happy that doc wants to try natural. I really do wish my doc would change his mind about me though hahaha I don't mind C-section at all..... I have some serious insecurity issues and I'm very very worried about stretching down there do you think that's silly?


I didn't have my mil at my baby shower and I was very very sad about that! she was the last person I ever thought would be funny about something like that especially because baby shower has nothing to do with family it's all about the baby and that's all. But anyhow each to their own and I won't let anyone upset me anymore no matter what the situation.

AFU we are doing very well I just have a very bad headache today so really wish this day will just be over with already! Oh and we are going to a baby seminar this Saturday at the Riverside hotel so I'm super super excited it's called baby sense and app it's very informative. Have you ladies hear about it?

An update- we saw our gynae yesterday. All is going very well. Can't believe how blessed we are. 30 weeks today and this man is still gonna stay put. Michael now weighs 1.42kg. growing so well. And then we asked the gynae the big question-what birthplan does he think will be best. He says he doesnt see any reason why we cant go natural. If baby carries on being good then definitely natural. So now we at least have an idea. Although I know it all depends on baby. My gynae also started me on steroid injections yesterday just in case. And I have to carry on taking progesterone. So we are very happy.

So to those mommies who have given birth naturally before, what did you pack in your labour bag? what goodies did you find handy that helped during your labour?
