Q jumping...Usually people like this annoy me, like you deserve special treatment because they r pregnant. Hello u r pregnant not disabled, but I just get cranky quietly to myself... NOT my sister!

It was a late friday Q very long and comes this woman jumps the q, quietly muttering I am pregnant and got kids in the car. My sister yelled out"Oi! I've got kidsi in the car too, so do probably six other people! And some are pregnant : Get to the back of the line, mate!"A few others in the line gave her thumbs up, or nods and smiles. So she shook her head and said, not quietly"That is just so RUDE!"

And the offending woman skunk back to the end of line, and was glared at by every person leaving the Supermarket.

She says standing her ground in those situations, and refusing to be pushed aside is good for her stress levels.

I was just so impressed with my little sis!

So are you a doormat like me, or a legend like her?

Saw this and thought it was appropriate for this thread:

Struggling to juggle life, kids, work, my bottle of wine, without having a total humour failure.

I have a letter from my pdoc to say I am insane, so tread lightly with me, some days I can be a total bitch. I'm lying. Most days I am a total bitch.

I abhor smiley face icons. Just saying.

Pregnant Peeve # 47

Pregnant moms need to tell everyone what and when they must eat ... well because they are pregnant.

Honey if food is such an issue, put a bar of chocolate in your bag, or snacks, seriously why do we have to be rushed to order because you are pregnant.

Have I told you before, get a frkn life!

Great laugh thanks ladies.

I guess there are more things that annoy me now than annyoyed me before I was pregant.

Yes the "my baby sleeps so much'. Yes they do at 5 days old, then they bloody wake up. Dylan's paed and I had a good chuckle when he told me that he was called 4 times to the nursery about a baby that slept all the time. Why is it that when they sleep we worry, when they don't we worry.

My baby will never sleep in my bed. Yes sure, after 5 nights of no sleep it is physically impossible to move so baby has to come to you.

"We won't allow a kid to change our lifes". Yes right as if you have a say in the matter.

I have my birth plan worked out perfectly. Well yes you may, but your fetus has his/her own plan.

I am sorry but I earned the right to bitch and moan during my pregnancy. It did not feel like a gift God would give at the time and yes I get that you need to sacrifice, I did seriously sacrifice to have my son and it was worth it looking back , but at the time I wanted to curl up in a ball and sleep the 9 months away.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Just to balance out my peeve sessions, I think it is great to be pregnant, and I think it is equally great that a pregnant mom is excited.

I totally get that. I was dead excited with my pregnancies and would have been happy to chatter about it all the time.

But I think that reality sometimes escapes pregnant moms and moms with a new baby - and that if they just lift their head up above the baby poo they will see that life is going on.

I did not have the luxury with pregnancy or baby 2 and 3 to sit around and think how wonderful I was because I was pregnant or had a new baby.

I had to appear like I was interested in other things and had a life - so I had to suppress the overriding urge to talk about pregnancy and babies, for the sake of my friends who did not have babies and who were not pregnant.

I am not suggesting it is not difficult and I get that all someone wants to talk is their baby/pregnancy, but I think my "snide" comments are simply trying to suggest that it might be nice to act not to be so over focussed on you if you are pregnant.

Bawaahahaha...

This stuff is getting better and better...

Another little pet peeve is when a "new" mommy who has just had a baby tries to tell an already "old and experienced" mommy how things must be done....bla bla bla

Another thing that gets me irritated are pregnant woman that moan and moan and moan about every little thing in their pregnancy... You know what darling.... A baby is a gift from God, treasure it and the few sacrifices you need to make for the BEST GIFT EVER!!!!!
