Spinal Headaches: Migraines after C-Section

So sorry to hear this.
Definitely persist with your doctor, if you have no luck get a 2nd opinion!
Unfortunately it is a known side effect of epidural anaethesia, I hope that yours is treatable

So sorry about the pain. Maybe it's nothing serious. But if it persists, go to the doctor.

I could not feel my leg for up to 1.5 weeks after my c-section and doctor said it was normal. I also had bad headaches but she said it was because of my blood pressure (nasty thing that cause my emergency c-section). But it passed. Important thing is to get it checked out ASAP.

I just wanted to check if anyone suffered with migraines after Ceaser.

2 days after my c-section i started having these headaches and the doctor suspected it was low iron levels. As i was still under pain killers they would come and go. But once discharged from day 6, i have had consistent headaches that just dont go away and i just can not do anything very painful. I started taking paracetamol and they just go away and re-cur once the medication wears off. Am now on Day 10 and the pain is there but this evening i begun having some on and off throbbing at the site of the place they inserted for the epidural.

i have been reading about these migraines and that they disappear on their own, but do we have these cases hearing that 1% of such c-sections result in these spinal headaches.
