My gynae is part of the gynomed practice & they are not contracted with the medical aids, so they can ask whatever tariffs they want. You have to pay cash & then just claim back from the medical aid. Each gynae there asks his own amount. My gynae asks roundabout R400 for a consultation & R600 for a scan, where the main gynae of the practice asks R750 for a consultation!!!

hi momtoc i actuallt live 5minutes from wilgeheuwel hospital, do they take medical aid or is it just cash? how much is it if it`s cash. i struggled to get an appointment you know how it is with gaeny`s then i jsut went to Dr Ismail in Brenthurst.

Thanks klk I do agree with you. With your 2nd pregnancy your bump does show way more quicker & is way bigger than before. There are certain days that I look 5 months pregnant hahaha. Love your bump as well. It looks so cute!!

Palesa, Just try and eat healthy as much as possible. I'm just not sure opening the capsules & throwing the powder in juice is the best option cause you should always drink any tablet & capsules with water as any other liquid destroys the effectiveness of the medicine.

mosaneo, I understand how you feel. I didn't have such severe MS but I also didn't feel well & being at work was hard. I didn't want to get up in the mornings & just wanted to sleep. Have you tried vomifene? Apparently it really helps.
I think we did the hospital & gynae thing I see Dr Schulz at Wilgeheuwel hospital.

AFM, It was my 30th on sunday & I had my birthday party on saturday. I really enjoyed it but my voice was almost gone, throat was on fire & sore & it all started thursday night. Went to doc on sunday. I've got laryngitis & was booked off for 2 days to just rest as she doesn't want to give me anitibiotics or cortizone but today my daughter is home with me as she has a bad cold & threw up twice at school. Apparently after she woke up from her nap, she complained her head was sore & then the vomit came. I think the constant headaches she's getting is because of sinus & I think she had alot of phlegm & that is why she threw up Just so tired of all this..........

hi KLK it`s my second bump 2 but when i wake up in the morning im as flat as anything then hubby worries where the poor baby is coz at 18 weeks something should be showing.

im not worried though coz the gaeny said the baby is as fit as a fiddle from the scans. i just want to show off tummy and so far it`s as if im full not pregnant.

Remember ladies this is my second pregnancy so you do show bigger and sooner - muscle memory plus I dont think my stomach muscles ever went back after having my son.

klk IM 18 WEEKS and mine is nowhere near that, it`s not even hard yet.

Went for scan on friday the baby`s growing and everything is perfect.
