Oh by the way, when I did go into labour with my son I had decided that enough is enough so I took his blanket and wrapped my belly with it. In the December heat. I spoke to him and told him he needs to come now. Needless to say that night I went into labour. I've been contemplating doing that but not sure if the blanket will work this time around.

I too an physically ok to go on but mentally feel ill ready for her. It's so strange how my aches and pains have disappeared or subsided.

The pain in vag is still there but I'm not sure if I'm used to it by now that it didn't affect me add much or if it's really subsided. I'm sleeping much better these days and braxton hicks have somewhat decreased as well. Even my discharge has disappeared

Not sure what to make of this.

MommywannaB- I have to stop myself from thinking that everytime I use the loo

Angela- Baby will come before 10 days is over. Maybe try some curry or chicken licken hot wings. I'm not a fan of spicy anything so can't really say anything about that.

Angela - That's serious I didn't see anything saying that but I know of someone in January who gave birth via csec and baby was stillborn due to the meconium.

The one guy working with my hubby his wife was 42weeks 2 days overdue. Dr induced her Wednesday but baby was 4.1kg so she had a emergency csec and he is as healthy as a horse.

GML- I wish I was thinking like you but I'm mentally tired I can still go on physically though.

Mommywannab- what scared me about castor oil is that it might make baby release their first bowel while still inside.
I'm gonna ask my midwife about it on Monday and hear what she says.

While I was on checkup some lady came with her baby and said baby arrived 10 days late it helped me relax a bit .

Angela - Gees yes I cannot imagine being overdue. I am eating pineapple like a pineapple addict and it only helps with constipation that's it! I am reading up on the castor oil but I am getting mixed reactions and what it does it works as a laxative which can irritate your uterus and that can cause labour. Not actual facts.

GML - it's bad having contractions and u know u can't go to hospital as they are not strong enough.

Every time I go to the loo I pray for water pr blood. I know it sounds crazy but it's atleast a sign!

I was walking a loy yesterday but i don't really think it works.

Catshart- how are you and baby doing? Can't wait to hear from you. How big baby was etc. I'm definitely jealous.

I would welcome any sign of contractions at this point. I have nothing!!! I even feel constipated.

The worst is my son just asked if baby can come out when he comes back from swimming today

I'm 38 weeks today with no sign of labour, nothing.

Woke up today and busied myself in the garden. I do this most weekends but hoped today would kick start something but not even trying to think about it too much. I'm not thinking about bringing labour on and if I do, I quickly remind myself not to.

Mommywannab- I'm hoping if I reach Thursday we will discuss induction earlier. Im also scared of castor oil . Thinking of eating 7 pineaples today.


I took a long walk last night and had few contractions then they dissappeared. I'll be walking again today considering a mini jog I want my baby out now.
