Hi MommywannaB- That's awesome- gaining weight nicely. I'm also waiting and hoping she turns by 34 weeks... baby's room is coming together nicely.

I cannot deal with the heat as well. It's like I'm boiling overtime....

I was thinking of a grey walls, Aqua Block letters with a touch of dark or Navy blue for my sons bedroom since we are moving him out of the small bedroom (nursery). I wanted to incorporate Red into the mix but not sure how. I think Spiderman Linen will add the RED.

I'm not sure what colours to make baby girls nursery.... Was thinking of Green (Mint green maybe or some other shade of green with a touch of Pink). I don't want the PINK to dominate the room though. So I was thinking maybe green walls with white floating shelves and add pink in smaller items like a rug, a pillow or curtains. Not sure if it will work.

Any ideas? I'm happy to change colours. The nursery is quite bright.... HELP

Hi GML – Things are looking good baby measures at 1.21kg and 38.1cm he has turned thank goodness but in the wrong direction. At least Dr said it’s normal and they usually move into the right position at 34 weeks.

I am counting down every second cause I am so uncomfortable I can die, this heat is driving me INSANE!!!! They have sent out a warning for a heatwave anything between 40 – 43 this week.

We are almost done with the baby room. The room colour are red, navy and white. We are still waiting for the cot to arrive. Baby will sleep in his camp cot in our room for the 1st few months and then after I will move him into his own room.

I love the colours!!!!!

I also need blankets but for winter only. Hahaha same here we are like 10km away from the hospital but I would like to be organized heheh

MommywannaB- How did it go? How big is baby now?

Shame my appetite is fine actually. my baby bag is also looking a bit empty but thats ok because we live a few minutes down from the hospital- hubby can easily fetch whatever we'll need.

I'm not even counting down now. I'm still thinking 10 more weeks to go then I'll start counting down in numbers when we have 4 weeks to go.

Oooh- I almost forgot, I need blankets as well.

I haven't even washed anything yet. I'm still trying to decide on paint colours for the kids bedrooms. I've decided on grey and Aqua for Big boy and Pastel green with a touch of Pink for babygirl. BUT I'm still not certain. I'll probably change my mind tomorrow

Has everyone finished setting up where baby will sleep? Although she'll be in her cot in our room I feel I need to get that space ready in case she's the type of girl who can sleep alone ( I wish)

Hi GML - How was your trip?

I know hey but it's the only way I feel comfy is on my sides.

I am seeing the gynea today , I cannot wait to see him again and see how much he has grown.

Our 4D was scheduled for today but we had to move due to the gynea appointment. They are very expensive, however I registered on the Storks Nest and our 4D is for free this time. I cannot wait to see his little face in details.

I am thinking of doing that as well I have no idea how babies and temperature works (I am clueless gosh)

Now that you made a little list of things I realise how many things I still have to get, I don’t know how this happened but his cupboard is full of nappies. I washed his clothes etc that I am taking to the hospital and my stuff I need but I think my bag is a bit empty compared to others hahaha.

I am really starting to feel drained I cannot wait to go on Maternity leave. My appetite changed overnight from ALWAYS HUNGRY to ALWAYS HUNGRY but cannot eat without feeling sick.

I cannot wait only 77 days left

MommywannaB- I do experience pain but more on the sides than lower parts. LOL. It's a mission laying on my sides because it feels like I'm squashing her...

Anyone seeing gynae anytime soon?

We are doing our 4D scan on the 11th. Gosh they are expensive aren't they but I cannot wait to see what she looks like....

How is everyone doing in terms of clothes etc.

I realised that all the stuff I had for my son are too old to use for baby. I need to buy everything from scratch.

I've decided for hospital I am doing long sleeve onesies/grows with short sleeve vests. and the top and pants I'm going to use long sleeve vests. So I need lots of vests at this point.

I still need hooded towels (used these a lot with my son),
Burp cloths (used them a lot as well!!!)
Babygrows- Only have for hospital stay
Vests
hats and socks and bips (for later)
bath items like bum creme etc
nappy bin
gripe water
colic drops (worked well with my son)
Towels (those big towels for carrying baby)
Facecloths
nappies


Here I thought I was making progress until I decided to sort the wardrobe out... I need to get cracking

Hi GML - Wow you do have small babies, but it's so cute. Glad everything went well.

I don't know if you are also experience a lil bit of pain but this baby of mine is transverse and sometimes I am in pain way down below.

Enjoy your trip to Bela Bela and be safe. The roads are a mess.

MomX3 - How are things with you? Not a lot is going on here lately everyone is on leave and at the beach except me lol.

Hello ladies

Had my gynae appointment this morning. Baby is weighing 1.1kg and doc says she is very small. He looked a bit concerned until he asked how much my son weighed at birth (2.7kg). He said you have small babies. He's not concerned about that now. Baby is laying side ways. Doc says it's not too much of a worry at this stage.

He wants to see me every 2weeks now. Next appointment is on the 11th Jan.
