soon2bemommy2 - Oh how I know that feeling. My little man also didn't want to show anything. I was so upset as everyone knows and here I am not buying anything cause I don't want just neutral colors. So we decided lets go for the 4D scan a week after my Dr visit, and that't when we found out. I know it''s pricey but at least they give you discount the second time around. I enjoyed the 4D scan so much.

I'm so envious of those of you who have found out the gender. I went yesterday and doctor can't tell. At first he was convinced it was a girl and then baby changed position and he wasn't sure if he saw a willy or if it could have the umbilical chord. I start seeing my midwife from next week so I'll only find out if I go for the 4D or at 36 weeks when I see my gynae again!

@nunuza - It's very sweet of him to get you stuff. I understand how you feel but shame, the thought! Maybe don't cancel the whole thing. Pick one or two items and send the rest back. That way you don't waste too much money and you don't let him down too much? Maybe I say this becuase mine isn't romantic like that so if he did something like that, I would be so touched, I'd forget about the money - plus I know if I returned everything, he wouldn't do anything like that again. LOL!

@MommyWannaBe - thanks for the tips. I hadn't seen much in the shops so I'll definitely look into MRP online.

nunuza - Go to Mr Price online and go have a look at the maternity section. I bought 2 nice long dresses and jeans. The shops have maternity clothes but not as much as on the website. Then I got normal nice tops and leggings on the website as well. I am wearing the same stuff on a weekly basis and I don't really care. I refuse to spend R480 on maternity pants and only wear them for 4 - 5 months, I would rather buy stuff for the baby. Good Luck
