2015/2016 Pregnancy

2 weeks already!! wow!! That is fantastic! does he feed often? My daughter used to feed for 20 mins, but every 2 hours on the hour!! somedays i felt that all I did was feed!
Glad u guys are settling in to a pattern.

Baby Acne-I know this is going to sound weird, but take a little bit of your breast milk and rub it onto where he has acne. It clears it up really quickly!

There is just so much to do at work, and it is just stressing me out! and the guy who is supposed to take over the big project I am working on, is being such an ass! Actually he is always like that! But I am reaching that point where either I am going to start screaming and shouting at everyone or I am going to burst into tears!

I only get to the office at 9:15/9:30! I am super delayed in the morning, so i cant really leave earlier.

Hi Maj - We are doing well tnx. He jad his 2 week appointment yesterday and he is now 3.13kg and they are very happy with his progress.

We are now just starting to get into a pattern. The only thing I hate is the baby acne he got about 4 days ago.

Oh gosh I know how u feel! Bit not to long anymore. Have u maybe considered going in a bit later en leave earlier?

Im so hating work right now! I cant even sit on this damn chair for more than half an hour!

Hey, the thing is working now I was just irritated and u know how things go when we are in a state like that.

I know everyone is not the same regarding Breastfeeding etc and No one should judge but I cannot imagine not having the bond with him.

They are really helpful.

its ok to get emotional and upset. work through it, dont fixate on it.

About the breastpump, maybe just do it by hand if its too frustrating with the pump. You have enough time to stock up for when you return to work!

So glad the breastfeeding is working out well. Its an amazing bonding time. I guess its diff for each woman in terms of how they are effected, etc. But I also agree, if you have someone who can advise really well, it will make a diff.
I am also going to a lactation consultation once the baby is born. Not sure if there is one at the hospital. (I still have not gone for a tour of the maternity ward. )

Ninies - yes I am but I don't like to give him the bottle. When I give him my breast again he is lazy to suck, eventhough I use the closer to nature bottles.

I have no idea I think I did something wrong.

It was tricky I was not sure if he ever got enough or if I am doing it correctly but the hospital had a great latching consultant and she helped a lot showed me how to everything.

@ MommywannaB - sorry to hear that you had a rough night. It sure aint easy but it does get better.
I am so happy to hear you have alot of milk. Why would your pump not work? Are you freezing your excess milk?
Was breastfeeding not a bit tricky for you in the beginning or did everything go smooth?
What a beautiful name - I like it.
