I bought a tummy belt from Cherry Melon. I haven't used it yet because still pregnant but planning on using it straight after the birth. Apparently it sucks your tummy muscles back in and gets you back into shape within 6 weeks. If you don't wear the belt then your tummy muscles just hang like they do during pregnancy but this belt actually holds them tight and pulls everything back into place.

I so wish I knew about this tummy belt when I was PG!

Dylan is 17 months old and even though I weigh what I did prior to the pregnancy I can't get rid of the little bulge of loose skin. Our clinic sister said she couldn't either even with a couple years of work outs.

I think it depends on your age and skin elasticity. Apparently the older you are the less chance of stretch marks, but the less chance of skin bouncing back to normal.

I was 34 and while I got stretchmarks in my teens quite badly I didn't get during the pregnancy, but my breasts have sagged and so has my tummy.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

My toddlers is now 3,5 years old and I'm still sitting with my "kangaroo pouch" where I had my c-sec done.

Honestly, I don't think the "hanging" will ever go away.

I'm seriously contemplating at tummy-tuck (whenever I will one day have enough money for that). But a girl can dream, hey?!

Hi All.

I would like to know what exercises I can do to get my tummy flat. My baby will be a month old 2moro and the pain(wound) has subsided , so what is the ideal time to start exercising my tummy muscles again without hurting the recovering wound, and it sort of has an overhang , does that ever go away??

God knows, I do not feel sexy anymore after this ordeal....
