Woolies are selling these lovely tops that you can wear under clothes that suck you in a bit... Every bit helps!

All I can say is thank goodness breastfeeding helps shed the weight a bit. I eat quite a bit and luckily still losing.

Oh the joys :)

With Mia I lost ALL my pregnancy weight within a week of her birth.

Now that baby Hannah is 5 months old today, I still havent lost all my preggie weight.

I have a good reason though. They say you shouldn't lose weight while breastfeeding. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! :P

Oh, with Mia I had emergency c-section and with Hannah a planned c-section due to the previous one.

The issue about your tummy is that you unfortunately need to get rid of the fat that sits there - no amount of sit ups and the like are going to do this. So that is diet and cardio work to get rid of that.

So that is first port of call. Along with that there are exercises that can strengthen your core as well as ones that are focussed on your abdomen and the muscles that run along the side - all of this goes to building a flatter stomach.

Unfortunately the loose stomach skin is a bit of a problem that can't be solved.

A friend of mine is buff and trim, stomach like an ironing board, but she has loose skin that she tucks into her knickers....

Dylan is 17 months old and even though I weigh what I did prior to the pregnancy I can't get rid of the little bulge of loose skin. Our clinic sister said she couldn't either even with a couple years of work outs.

I think it depends on your age and skin elasticity. Apparently the older you are the less chance of stretch marks, but the less chance of skin bouncing back to normal.

I was 34 and while I got stretchmarks in my teens quite badly I didn't get during the pregnancy, but my breasts have sagged and so has my tummy.

I developed really bad stretchmarks on my tummy in the last month of my PG.

Thank goodness my (.)(.) didn't sag or drop or whatever! They're still nice and perky!
