Hi all,
Glad everyone is well - except for the aches, pains, tiredness, etc! Wow, time is definitely drawing closer now! And I am the end of Sept, so for those of you in Aug/Sept almost any day now!

I had a wonderful baby shower on Saturday - really got spoilt and nice to have it done so we know what we really need, etc now. Also still have to pack my and babie's hospital bags - anyone found any decent pjs yet? I am actually torn between pjs and tracksuits, which I may prefer to see visitors in?

Just still so tired! Cant actually wait to finish work now! Only 3 weeks to go!

Have wonderful days, and stay warm (and comfy!) xxx

WOW is it cold guys!! Geez i really had to tell myself that i was only coming in to work because i can this morning to get out of bed... officially i am on leave from friday but i have annual leave should i need it... and a very considerate lady boss...

Theres this burst water pipe just up the road from us (they were working on it yesterday) and this morning when i left in the cold and dark there was actually ICE on the road... the running water had frozen! Thankfully i saw the car in front of me slip a bit so i was extra cautious...

(The BMW behind me wasn't impressed at all) LOL

Hi BabyKsMom

Sounds like you had a fantastic women's day. Must be feeling all refreshed and good.

As for me, I survived the first night. Realised last night that this is the first time my boy will be away from me for more than 24hrs. Plus all the hormones and stuff just make it worse. They are having a ball in CT.

I'm keeping myself busy, no pampering sessions planned though. But I do plan some serious retail therapy tomorrow (Woolies sale start!!!)

Hope the rest of you ladies are doing well, not too much complaints and are keeping warm on this chilly day.

Shame Sonay, I have also been very emotional. Have had a lovely day as I said in my previous post and in fact have had a lovely weekend but still had words with hubby that came out of nowhere yesterday and was feeling very low yesterday. Then today all up in the clouds. So lots of ups and downs.

Hope tomorrow is better and enjoy this time to yourself, have you got some pampering lined up?

Hello ladies, hope everyone has had a lovely long weekend!

I had the most beautiful reiki session today - a very good friend is a reiki practitioner and offered to do a treatment on me. I've never had one before but I felt so energised afterwards and my little boy responded so well and was bouncing around during it.

Then same friend (also the most talented photographer) took some pics of me and hubby and the belly. I'll post some if she has time to edit them before baby comes.

So I have had a truly awesome women's day, feeling very empowered and looking so forward to my adventure of giving birth, which some may argue is the most womanly and feminine act ever ;)

Happy women's Day to all of you. So, what you up to today?

I'm feeling a bit off today, maybe over emotional. Dropped my DH &son at airport this morning for their week holiday in the Cape. I was all good about it, I mean, who want to be in cold and rainy CT when you can be in sunny, warm Pta. Well, weather here is windy, I don't even want to go out. And to top it off, the first thing my son asked me when I spoke to him now, was why I couldn't fly anymore. That just put me over the edge. It's gonna be a very long week.

Luckily our little madam has decided she's going to keep me company, and make sure I know about it. She started kicking up a storm. My ribs actually feel bruised. So I guess I better get up and get a move on doing all her stuff.

Enjoy the rest of the long weekend ladies. Make sure you get spoiled.
