they did! giggling gerti there admitted on a recorded call that the calls were made after the phone was blocked

and the worst pary hubby works for ABSA and the bond is a staff account so when our debit order bounces on the 2nd... technically they can fire him as it is a clause in his employment contract

:-( He is gonna talk to them today and see if they will aloow us a little extra lee way

oh man... anyways

regarding the swelling... i have gotten to the point that if i don't sit when i get home and rest i suffer terribly at bed time... my stomach aches something real bad... then again it may have something to do with the rapidly growing belly... you literally can see it grow in size from day to day!

and baby had hiccups for the second time last night... it was so funny... we were all watchimg my belly bounce!

Thats not on KerryA. The cell provider should look at their records and see what time you called in to block the phone and from there can see the R5000 calls where made after that and you can also report it to the police station.

you cannot be liable to pay that if your phone was stolen and you did notify the cell provider

ask them what time they blocked your phone, the time you called in....you should not be liable to pay that after the call, irrespective how long their turn around time is .....

that is alot of money, i cant imagine how you must be boiling

Sher - i was also struggling with it until i tried wearing slightly different shoes... try a slight wedge shoe as opposed to a heel... esp if you are going to be walking a lot... it should help

Okay... first sorry guys... i need to Vent... i am miserable and tired and grumpy and angry and... it may be pregnancy related but i doubt it... oh please oh please will sumone help?

It all started yesterday, hubby's fighting with the municipality on my behalf as not only can they not send us our June statement (which is due by the 10th) when we ask them how much to pay they read us the darn balance off the May statement which we have already paid... when you point this out they say agh man... just pay...

Then last night during supper my huband gets a notify me sms saying MWEB has debited our account for a R600 modem which they did not / would not supply to us. Which forced us to buy our own...

and then to top it off at 10:30 isn we are just dozing off to sleep again and my husbands cell goes again this time MTN... my hubby's cell bill is usually less than R400 a month... this month somehow it's over R5500!!!! Apparently there is a 2-24 hour wait after you phone to have your phone blocked!

So when we were held up at that restaurant last month, as soon as we got home to a phone we phoned and had the phone blocked on the MTN system, then the next day somehow R5000 worth of calls were made and according to MTN we are liable! first the phone does not have international roaming so how in the ... do you make R5000 worth of calls in less than 24 hours? second how can they hold us accountable?

So hubby phones in and is sweet with the poor wendy, the girl on the other end until she says it's your fault... then he goes off his rocker as due to this our bond repayment will not go off tomorrow... hubby's account is waaayyyy overdrawn!!! So he insists on speaking to a team leader or manager and the whole time we are on with the team leader we hear the b1tch laughing in the background!

I am sorry excuse my ranting... just in a mood.....

it has gone down a bit today but is swollen again cause of walking ....

my blood pressure was fine all along, so lets see next week.

i also think its normal and i think its too much walking, i wore boots last week sat and took the gauteng train and walked from station to sandton city.... not a good idea, I was dying of pain :)

then yesterday only noticed the swelling. but they say swelling of feet is normal in pregnancy and you cant stop walking. so will have to see

I have all my stuff sitting in packets at home... been waaay to lazy to actually put it in the bags...

But i must say i have hit the "grow" period you guys mentioned... even my colleagues keep commenting that i was half the size yesterday... but i find with the PJ's that the same size is still fine... you tuck the elastic under the belly and the top generally has a little extra room... so for my hospital bag i got dark red satin Pj's at truworths in my regular size, that way i can carry on wearing them after

Sher.... the swelling is 100% normal... it's just water retention, from walking too much, and you'll notice if you sit and relax for 10-15 minutes it will go away slowly. I get it only on days where i have over exerted myself... but the next morning it's all gone

Though check it in the morning as it can also be a sign of pre-clampsia... if it isn't gone in the morning you will need to bring it up with your gynea or stop at a chemist and let them check your blood pressure to rule it out.
