Ally, I thought of you when I saw this:

Simone, fingers cross with the interview. Hubby had his interview yesterday for Tanzania. It was a conference call interview, so, I could hear everything. I think it went good. 2 months work and 1 month at home. which will be good, to be on holiday for 4 months a year is like going back to school......

Simone- when I change his nappy he gets up and tries to do a pee in the potty but I'm not making him take his nappy off specifically to pee just yet, don't want to push it, Might buy some pull ups when I run out of nappies next time.

Julz- how you feeling today?

Vix, yep the curry night is for my bday in 2 weeks. :) Exactly 2 actually.

I don't mind the work, the curries are going to be prep'ed the day before, will cook them in the morning, will do the decor the morning also and then I'm lucky that we have a dishwasher and a full time maid so I don't do any cleaning! :) She's off on the 16th because of public holiday but all the prep dishes would have been done before as she only leaves at 15h00 on the 15th.

Lisha, I was planning on doing Chocolate mousse (so easy!) with a henna stencil pattern in edible glitter mixed with icing sugar ontop. Shooo the gulab jamun does sound divine though! The recipe looks a lot like koeksisters but just in balls? I think the choc mousse is going to be less work lol.

Simone, I just sit on the bed with the twins playing around me when I do my hair. But I just let it dry naturally and then straighten. It's quite wavy and wild but it only takes me 10 minutes to straighten if it's completely dry. But I'm lucky that they play by themselves all the time.

Morning moms

Hope you're all well rested.

Nicole hope you feel better soon. Shame man why did you keep K home with you yesterday? Never any rest when they are around.

Simone good luck with the interview. FX that the advertised salary is before benefits xxx
I only wash and set hair at night lol otherwise Shrey will insist on hairdryer and with ghd it's a whole other worry
Ahh it must melt your heart that Addy can identify your dad, Shrey saw my dads wheelchair last week and he said 'Thatha's' that's grandad in telegu...

Vix hmmmm fruit cake you will get at Woolies but not sure about pudding lol ... hope you get to satisfy those cravings.

Yoza yay on Siba walking some more.

Ally that looks very pretty. Henna stencils you should get at Oriental Plaza, I'm sure I've seen you previously mention going there. What's for desert on your curry night. If you're up to the challenge try Gulab Jamun balls in syrup and serve with ice cream - very very yummy :) DH ate that every night for desert when we were in India, believe me he came back looking like a gulab jamun :silly:

Simone glad you handling the difficult days well. A work friend lost his mum last week and shame I was telling him that in time it does get easier but for now I know too fresh for him and well still for me ... but we'll all get there.

Nelria??? Hope you & boeta are doing well and that Lea is coping without her mommy xxx

AFM last night wasn't bad at all, just dh & I ate later than we're used too but it was okay. Shrey ate his chicken, butternut and rice nicely but refused the potato lol. Was meant to do a chicken stir fry tonight but mom says she's making big pot of chicken breyani so I must not prepare. Already defrosted the chicken so I just steamed it a bit and put into fridge so that I can make stir fry tomorrow.

What seasoning do you ladies use for stirfry? I don't like soy sauce so what are my alternatives and I'd like Shrey to eat the same thing so can't be too hot ...

Since this morning when Shrey wants to bf he says 'drink noo-nies' lol it sounds so cute. So now my mom asked him who drinks noo-nies and he says 'mummy'
