Morning ladies

Lisha i TRY (not always successful) to not let Addy watch TV before bed...i have read it works them up...but Addison is always on speed it seems so does not make a difference if she watches or doesnt...lol. sorry you didnt have a great night:-(

Julz...sorry about your trip. But I agree...R15000 to be spent on the house makes alot more sense.

Well Addison slept well actually...woke up around 9 so we could give her a bottle, change her, put on pj's, etc...but she was fast asleep as soon as she was back in her cot. She did stir again for a bottle in the early hours of the morning, but i didnt mind because she had last eaten at 1pm....she woke up about 6am....so thats about 13hrs that she slept and she was actually still tired. I hope she takes a nap this morning. This lack of sleep is catching up to her!

but she was so cute in her cot this morning....'maaaamaaaa.....daaadaaaa......daaadaaaa.....maaammaaaa.....Naaanaaaa (Vannah)....I wuv you....mama...dada....' she was just calling our names over and over and then throwing in an 'I wuv you'.

Oh yesterday we went to woolies after work...Addison saw the shoe racks and let out this gasp...and went 'SHOES!!!!'....then she saw the rails of bags...and another gasp...'BAGS!!!!'.... I was so pleased...my child is going to be a little fashionista;-) Vannah has silver beads and Addison is forever putting them on walking around the house going 'pretty...pretty'...lol

Lisha I don't forget, but we just don't have family to help us so we are looking forward to it.

Thanks Julz.
The time to yourselves sounds nice :) We tend to forget that we must make an effort for alone time too.

Discovery ladies I think you should lodge a claim with discovery first and see what they say. I just sent an email to them. Then if no luck lodge a complaint with the council of medschemes which is what I did. It takes about a month.

Ally sorry about rough night.

Dylan was quite restless last night, but not too bad.

We are not going away now. Sorry Simone. The prices are sky high which would be okay if our house was complete, but we need a few more things to finish it off like a new front gate and awning for the one side and a liquor cabinet. We just don't feel right about spending 15000.00 on a trip to pe when these things need to be done. I will still take a weeks leave and Neil has to take 2 weeks and we may just go away for a long weekend. We will keep Dylan in daycare and do some things as a couple.

Morning mommies

Vix thanks for the tips you gave Nicole on travelling with the lo's, next week we're taking first long drive with Shrey up to the Berg, quiet dreading the drive :( but will pack bribe sweeties & choc's for him....
Glad you got all the gifts you wanted and hope you guys have an awesome night away

Julz sorry to bring the Discovery discussion here as well but would I also be considered for the reimbursement of gynae visits? And if so how do I go about the queries etc .... Once again sorry if I'm asking you to repeat stuff you may have mentioned in other threads but would just like to be 100% sure ....

Mandy hope that Cam is better this morning. Bummer re another car problem, wishing all your car problems away asap....

Simone sorry you didn't get to spend time with Addy last night. She'll make it up to you this weekend.

Ally well done on being patient with Aidan, I just lose my cool on week nights if Shrey is niggly :(

AFM last night wasn't great either but I'm not too phased due to weekend ... Gave dh strict instructions that no more telly in the room at night to get Shrey to calm down cos it gets him wide awake for more than an hour. Rather take him to lounge, calm him down and then get him settles again ...

Vix, I hope Elwyn enjoys all his surprises! :) Let us know what his reaction is.

So Aidan only went to sleep at 22h15. He just refused to go to sleep. Eventually we HAD to take him out of his cot because he was trying to wake Abi. Luckily mom and dad both kept calm and patient!

Simone, Abi is also a little destructor but atleast she does clean up when I ask her lol.
