Julz I also went to bed with headache last night! Hope your head is better. I am feeling much better today. Still not 100% but better. Dylan scared of sea horse?? where did he see one? Addison would try and play with the dog...she is fearless (unlike me)...she tries to poke all the animals at the touch farm!

Ok Nicole I dont do pineapple with food...lol...any fruit for that matter, so may give it a skip;-( Sorry K didnt sleep too well! I LOVE the way they say Monkey....you must be so chuffed!

Lisha my tummy is much better thanks! Addy's rash looks so much better this morning!!! Seems the meds work fast...only one dose last night! So i pray it gets better all over. But i know we still have to get to the bottom of what caused it! Glad you had a good night;-)

Hi ladies

Oh Helen...poor Oliver! How traumatic for him! I hope he grows out of it...I am terrified of dogs...and til today my friends need to keep their dogs FAR away from me...i cant be in a room with them...its a paralysing fear...not nice...so i dont wish it on him!

Those DVD's sounds like quite a bargain!

Nelria...ok no Dexter talk...but PLEASE watch it soon!!!! I love Supernatural....i havent finished first episode of true Blood yet, but may give it a try if i am really bored. Enjoy the play date;-)

Vix aw cute re: C and the doggy;-) Addy is the same...drinks the water...but only about 40mls and then 30 min later she is awake again and refuses the water...clever child!

So Elwyn doesnt know about your weekend away?? AWESOME!! He is going to be so surprised;-)

Hi Mommies.

Not too much to report on here. The twins had a good night but now Abi is refusing to take her morning nap and it's driving me insane. She is in her cot yelling and I can hear it's that NAUGHTY yell that drives me crazy!!
She had a poo so I changed her and now she is just moaning constanly. I can feel my blood pressure rising.

Nelria, I won't be able to join you unfortunately. I have a bit of research to do for the restaurant review I'm doing on Saturday and I want to get dinner started at 12. I'm making Short Rib Bourguignon and it takes 3 hours to cook and then it needs to stand for another 2 for it's flavour to be really good.

My kids aren't afraid of dogs because we've got 2 (although they are small) and my aunts both have big dogs. My older aunt has a great dane and the younger one has 2 Dobermans (although they also look like Great Danes, not at all as scary as Dobermans I'm used to.

Helen shame poor Oliver no wonder he is scared of dogs, that incident must of been very scary for him, but im sure in time he will get use to dogs again and be back to his old self. Maybe I should order some dvds for K over amazon, he needs some new dvds, thanks for the tip :)

Lisha wooo hooo on the good nights sleep ;)

So tomorrow we leave for the weekend in Port Alfred for the renewal of Df's parents. Hoping K will be good in the car. I must just pack lots of snacks and goodies for him, incase he decides not to sleep. Just hope the weekend wont be to painful

I will have to spend tonight doing some of our washing and K's washing, plus cook him some meals to take with as not a fan of K eating takeaways and that. then tomorrow morning we will have to pack....geez theres going to have to be alot of things to bring with. Hoping the weather is going to be nice so we can take K to the marina and the beach for some fun :)

Julz yes we did pay import duties, I think the order came to something like R290 then we paid +-R30. Basically when you know how much the order is in rands then you can just add 14%. They take off the VAT in the UK then you just pay SA tax when it arrives. Its amazing thaat its still cheaper than buying it here, we really do get ripped off in this country.

Lisha YAY on sleep!! :)

It is a real shame about the dog story, we have cats and they are Oliver's best friends (although I'm not sur he is theirs lol!). He's had plenty of contact with other dogs before and has always been fine (Theo's aunt has 6/7 of them!), it just seems that since this dog barked at him and gave him such a fright its really spooked him, then I think the one dog at the baby shower just topped it off. I told my friend to leave the dogs out as Oliver must get used to them even though he's scared and at first he was hysterical and was literally climbing my leg to get away. Then after about half an hour he was happy to leave my lap and go play in the garden and would only get stressed when the one dog (a rather big Rhodesian cross of some kind) came near him. Then it all ended in disaster as Oliver and another toddler were playing with a ball (the dog wasn't interested at all), then one of the bigger kids came over and started kicking the ball and teasing the dog to play as well (I wasn't impressed), Oliver started getting upset again because the dog was getting excitable so frightening him and it was Oliver's ball that they were playing with, eventually we got the ball back and the dog ran off again but then when the other LG that Oliver was playing with was holding the ball above her head (she and Oliver were standing opposite) the dog appeared from nowhere, took a flying leap and grabbed the ball straight out of her hands sending her flying and giving Oliver yet another fright, to make matters worse the dog then stood beside Oliver attacking the ball and it popped. That was it after that, it took me a good ten minutes to calm him down and all he had to do was catch a glimpse of the dog and he'd start crying and clinging to me :(
