Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Hi guys,

Farawayers- sorry for the lack of details about saturday but me, Ally & Zee ewere frantically calling around trying to make another plan from 7 when we saw the rain and only got a new plan by 9. Nelria was trying to suggest we move it to Tuesday, I'm serious guys, this woman can be very difficult to plan for! She has wanted to pull out, change the time, change the date, change the venue, she couldn't have challenged us much more! LOL bvut all in all it was nice and so heart warming to see so many gifts, It's amazing how well you can know someone you have never met in person!

Sorry I have been scarce, My sister arrived the evening after the baby shower so I rushed home to do house work and cook and still finish sewing jobs. Drove here to Naboom yesterday morning and will drive back to JHB tomorrow. Bit worried about all this rain though, might mean no photos tomorrow

Have only really been logging on to get updates on the TTCers that were due to test today.

I am exhaused amd an going to bed now, will catch up properly later in the week.

Simone I wish Shrey would have a dada only day lol, it's the opposite in our household which can be exhausting at times.

Nelria thanks for that summary of the meet and all the kids. Simone is right, these ladies haven't given up much detail since the event lololol. Glad u enjoyed it and got spoiled. I agree it's great having all these lovely ladies as friends.

Shrey still not doing too well. Only had a short nap today so he was pretty exhausted when we got home. Had to do supper in bath cos he was being difficult. Oh and medicine time has become a huge problem, he refuses the meds so we have to force it in and boy oh boy what a fight and crying session. Hope he gets better soon so that I can stop forcing him to drink medicine.
We're planning on spending the entire day at home with the domestic so that should be relaxing for Shrey (I hope). Maybe in the afternoon we'll take a drive to the park or beach, weather permitting off course.

Simone, Aidan and Abi have SOO many days where they only want C. It drives me insane but when that happens I enjoy the 'me' time. Not having 2 toddlers climb over you while you watch tv is actually nice lol.

Yoza, your kids are beautiful. I'm with Simone, LOVE the pink chair!

Today was one of those utter BLAH days! The only thing to do on a day like today is sleep and eat. And I couldn't sleep!

Simone, we told her when everyone was at her house that it was her shower. She didn't know when we all got there!

Nelria so glad u enjoyed the party! did u know it was going to be your shower? When the rain happened did they just tell u??? People have been keeping us poor far awayers out of the loop!lol

My child not only hates the sand...but hates me today...the whole day if her father gets out of the car she screams DADA! We got home and she and Gerard played outside for an hour...then they showered, I dressed her and put her down. We heard her cough and she actually puked...luckily stood up and puked outside her cot....i went to pick her up and she just wanted to be by her dad. I tried books, tellitubbies....as soon and g left the room she went berserk! Refuses to come to me... Wonder what I did to deserve this treatment!
