Ally really???? That is depressing! I just figure how can she want something she has never had? Cause even when sick she doesnt sleep with us!!!

Oh well...i hope it'll just be after a solid 6-8hrs of sleep every night!

Helen i hope that cold stays away from his chest!!! poor guy! Re: clothes...luckily we dont buy alot...Addy gets spoilt so everybody else is always buying for her! I would also try and be economical if i had to buy everything myself.

Simone, I read in the new Your Baby that they say more toddlers co-sleep with their parents than Babies do. They say you should expect more sleep distrubance between 1 and 3 then in the first year! How depressing is that? lol

The twins are definitely dropping their morning nap. We put them down at 10 and they are still awake. Not crying, but talking and carrying on. Oh how I will miss that hour of sanity in the morning. Luckily they still sleep up to 2 hours in the afternoon.

Julz...I HATE SALES! i walk into truworths and if there is a sale on i walk out...and for the same reason i hate MR P! LUCKILY my 21yr old sister is always shopping on a budget...so she does the dirty work for me! lol. Glad Dylan went down nicely last night...sorry about puking!

Angie I have used Sterimar...i am a fan cause it squirts so nicely all the way up the sinuses!!

I assume Vix wont be on...hope she got a sitter. Ag feel so bad when people dont have family and I am so blessed to have so many babysitters around. Hope the jobs goes well;-)

Christi...if Iris has just started walking I would suggest u keep her out of shoes until she is more confident. They dont walk well in shoes until they have mastered barefoot. I found with Addy it happened...took her to party in shoes..she stumbled all over...and thought everyone thought i was a liar when i claimed she was walking before 10m...lol. Had no idea why...when i got home, took off shoes, she was running around...and then the light bulb went on!

Morning ladies

So last night i went into the room with Addy...read to her...let her drink her bottle in our bed...played a bit (the more tired she gets the more she laughs!)...and AFTER 1 HOUR she fell asleep on her own in her cot.

BUT I was HORRIFIED when i dressed her last night to see the most hideous rash on her one knee all the way up her thigh. It started as a few pimples...and i dont dress her at all...only last night cause DH worked...so i didnt know how bad it got. She was scratching and scratching her leg trying to fall asleep. I am an eczema sufferer...and i can tell u i have NEVER seen such a bad rash spread so fast in my life!

Taking her to paed at 11am.

So at 2:20am she woke up...i thought...i just want her calm...so G put her in bed with us...cause she was already starting with Dada Uppie....and she slept immediately until 6:30am!!! AMAZING! She woke up kissing me...she was in the BEST mood she's been in all week. Dishing out hugs and kisses. So the discomfort of her in bed with us for 4hrs was worth it.

I will try the calming routine before bed now...and if she needs to climb in with us at 2 or 4am...so be it.

Julz I know I should have stayed at home for one more day but I was so worried about everything that is not happening in my absence ...... little did I realise that the auditors already spoke to my director so everything was fine for me to take my time getting back to work .....

Thanx Julz. I'll look into all those areas. I have a whole list. Our budget is probably between R5 and R7K a month. Which to me is RIDICULOUS but that's what the prices are there. Once I know more I'll start looking more in depth.
