I pay 1600.00 per month but it depends on area etc. That includes cereal and lunch plus two snacks and we only supply nappies and formula.

Northern suburbs is cheaper.Welgemoed is expensive. We stay in Monte vista which is nice and central and have surrounding areas which are more affordable like edgemead and bothasig.

CT ladies, what's the average for Cresche/Day care there? We are trying to figure out how much we are going to have to pay every month and then if the Salary is less than that we'll obviously not be able to do it.

I'll be working in Adderley street in town so which areas are good to live in? My aunt stays in Welgemoed (close to Bellville) and my cousin stays in the apartments by Canal Walk but I'm sure they are very expensive. Of course I would love to get a nice penthouse in Clifton but.... lol

Woohhoo on Lea sleeping so nicely again :woohoo: wrt to supper time i feed K the same time as you feed Lea, then some nights i will give him custard, jelly or a yogurt at about 17:40, however i have tried feeding him later and it made no difference to his waking up time.

Hi mommies.

No Lisha I'm not moving..well not yet. The food editor is leaving on maternity leave in october and they maybe want me to stand in for her! :)

Zee, I do have family there but I won't be able to go live there with C and the twins. That's a bit hectic. lol I wouldn't feel comfortable with that anyway. But C and I really want to do it so I'm sure we'll make a plan! :)

Hi ladies

I hope that Vix is sorted with someone to look after C today.

I also have to be Cole some shoes as the ones he currently has are getting to small.

Lelani I get pink eyes quite often and it is very irritating so I can only imagine how tough it must be for poor Zian, hope he gets better soon

So today is our last "official work day" then tomorrow we are having a huge office clean-up..where everyone must help and then our boss is giving us Monday off "PASELA" seeing that tuesday is a public holilday....he is just great :woohoo:

I will log in later and reply to everyone.

Ladies have any of you tried using Sterimar Nasal Hygiene (sp)..It was given to Cole while he was in hospital and I have been using it all the time. Also work great for blocked noses and is quick and easy to spray up their noses

here is a link if you want to read up on it
