Hi everyone

I took Z to her niece's party today and she was the queen of tantrums. I was so embarassed, she cried and complained about everything. I was so not impressed. I eventually got up and left before anyone else.

About motherhood, Simone. I think most of us feel like that all the time. When I lose my temper I say things to Ziani that I feel terrible about, i even hit her last night when she wet her pants by accident because I kept on asking if she wanted to go to the loo and she refused the entire time. Off course I know that its terrible of me and that I'm up for the Worst mom of the year award, but in the heat of things it is not that easy to keep a cool head. I wish I could be a more relaxed mom but honestly, I feel overwhelmed most of the time. The only thing that count in my favour is that I simply adore her.

Simone I think the article was interesting. I think they are a bit odd to say the least.

In most instances your child will take on the appropriate Gender yet there are some kids that are truly born into the wrong body. I watched an awesome Tyra show about transgender and these kids knew at age 3 that they were not in the right body and their parents then accepted the new gender from young and the kids are really happy.

I am glad G is going to chat about this. It has to be sorted out!!!

Yoza we will miss you but good luck for the run!!! I am in Awe of you.

I was at the doc again. I have a nasty sinus inf still. He said that 4 antibiotics are hectic but he is going to give one last one that is very specific and if that doesn't work then I have to see an ent again to possibly do a good clear out. He has also told me to use the actual sinus wash . Odd to use!

Simone, i have read the article (on RM blog) and i think its really rediculous, and i PERSONALLY dont think they are setting this child out for the big bad world and may cause him/her(yes i also thought storm was a boy) much difficulty to adapt in a world that is already tough.

And a second yes, the boy does look like a girl because of his hair. very confusing and personally i dont think its right. And yes K to also identifies what mommie as compared to him and daddy and of course he is forever pointing out that i have boobies and daddy doesnt lol.

PS My bet is Storm is a boy. They have 2 sons....I think they have some deep rooted want for a girl and hope this child decides he/she wants to be a girl and chops the pena off.lol. Okay I'm making light, but Storm looks like a boy to me.

Thanks for all your comments ladies. G says he wants to talk to them as we cant be talking behind their backs like this...and they just need to understand. I hope its that simple!

I am going TOTALLY off topic now...but I received an email last week about a couple that are letting their child grow up 'genderless'. Did any of you read this? Nobody knows if Storm is a boy or a girl except immediate family and the midwife that delivered baby.

I think its sooo strange! At age 2 Addison asks what is between my legs and knows that mummy has a vagina, she has a vagina and daddy has a 'pena' (penis). Now surely this kid will see his or her vagina/penis and will associate with either mom or dad?

They would pick out the child's clothing. They will choose if the hair is cut or not. They will choose who will potty train the child...sitting up or standing. Will this not in some way lean towards a gender? How is heaven's name can you avoid being gender specific at some point? It makes no sense! And the 2 older kids know what Storm is (both older kids are boys, but the pic I saw of one looks like a girl with 2 long braids??). I dont know...are they just setting these kids up for ridicule? Also forcing your kids to keep Storm's sex a secret....that's a bit much to ask of kids?

I dont know...what do you guys think? I find it completely stupid!
