This place is so quiet!

So busy here, trying to finish the last issues before the printers close for the holiday.
Zander is actually doing better (but I'm almost too afraid to say it out loud). He's on Sister Lillian's colic care and Mag phos for the cramps so things are really looking up.

Ziani is also doing, she's not really excited about creche next year though, she keeps on saying that she would rather stay with Boetie at the daymother. Shame.

Vix, the tweenies are so adorable, hope all the kids are healthy and well.

Nicole, hope you enjoy your holiday!

Simone, better get that bag packed! Good luck with the last couple of weeks (days!). I'm so super excited for you and Mandy, cannot wait for the pics. Take it easy and enjoy being able to rest a bit. It change a lot believe you me (sigh!)

Nelria, have you found a place yet for the internship? Great news about Lea and the dummies.

I have to say I feel like the Grinch this year ... I'm not looking forward to Christmas at all. Usually I bake fruit cake, and make a lot of gifts in the kitchen, but I really don't feel up to it. I also don't feel like shopping or even making Christmas lunch. Hope I can get some festive spirit from somewhere! Maybe I'm just exhausted from all the work and the kids! Ziani can't wait for Xmas though, her list changes everyday. Think I'm going to get her a play cash register and maybe a kitchen thingy.

Nicole the less drama for xmas the better! I'm sure you will have a great xmas not having to stress about family crap!! And our kids are going to be sooo excited this year....you can concentrate on eating yummy foods and making K happy:)

Nicole sorry the scan went well...baby growing well, no cord around the neck, placenta, fluid looking good...placenta still low lying but luckily on back wall. Been booked for 20th Dec at 7:15am.

I feel HUGE....my mom says no ways have I put on under 3kgs as I am massive! Mother's know just what to say! I am very emotional...very crabby....tired and sore. We had staff function the other day and i parked so far away in blistering 28 degree heat....so after sitting at function for 2hrs back was sore...then had to walk in heat on UPHILL! I wanted to sit down next to the road and cry!! Wishing my car was like David Hasselhoff's in Knight Rider that I could just call.lol. My back and lower pelvic area were killing me!

G said I need to rest once I am on leave and take it easy...I was not impressed...told him i'm not 'that' kind of pregnant woman...lol. But ya...i dont think there'll be any more 5kms or uphill walking for me for the next few weeks! And malls?? Hmm...will give it a skip...though still have a few things to sort out...like pack my baby bag!!

Hope everybody else is well and everybody will be able to come and say hi and bye before they officially go on leave!!

Oh Julz had to lol @ you being able to disclose the nature of your work this time! Ha ha. Glad Dylan still smiling after fall!

kids are good xen super cute and talking alot now and so fierce and strongwilled he stands up to lea 100%

Lea good as always still i fairy outfit 24/7 and no return to dummies or bottles or even asking for it - still night nappy but drinks water in bed so not pushig at all - surprisingly xen at 18mnths already knows when he pee's and poo's so MUCH faster than lea

Its that time of the year when were so busy and wrapping things up before we jet off.

We jet of Saturday morning so looking forward to the road trip with the family. Were travelling with our nanny she is over the moon and im happy with the extra pair of hands.

Its buhle's concert tommorrow Im so looking forward to it. We recieved siba report for all his sessions at SNAP its looking good and I can confirm the following words that he says mouth, duck, star, mama, sisi, hlehle and other sounds which we have no idea what they mean. he can make an animal sound of a cat, horse and cow. He points to the nose, mouth ears, eyes.

Vix a happy belated birthday wishes to the twins, wow i cant belive that they are 1 already...where does time go? The boys look so cute! Love their matching outfits Sorry to hear about the excessive bleeding, i can imagine that you feel like crap during that time! I am also having a problem, instead of taking the contraceptive pill (because of the severe headaches i was getting from them) i moved on to getting the injection instead, only problem i have now for over a month been bleeding/spotting non stop! Its driving me crazy, apparently it is because it is my first time but flip seriously hope it calms down when i get my next shot next month.

Simone how did the scan go and how does the compactum look after it had been refurbished? Glad the pains in your legs are easing. Not to long now.....exciting times Oh and yes it was raining like crazy in E.L on Thursday as well as Friday night, we had nice weather for the weekend though.

Ally are you leaving for your holiday today (i think?) if so, travel safely and i hope you get some well deserved rest!


afm, we are all fine. I had friday off, (the other company who we share an office with had their staff party) so it was the only chance dh and I could go Christmas shopping as DH will be working retail hours (which sucks ). We bought K some nice stuff - the areoplane that features in Cars 2, it comes with one of the characters that you can put in the plane, you press a button and the cars reverses out etc, a lawnmover that blows bubbles, a cars wheelbarrow (he has been asking for the last 2 for a few days) some other toys, dvds and books etc. We went very small for the hundreds of children i have in my family lol. This year we have decided to do Christmas different, every year we usually go to my grans house for a big lunch and spend a few hours there etc, but its always stressful, theres always family politics etc and by the end of the day you actually feel that you didnt even get enought time just be together as a family. So we are skipping the big family gathering (there have been many bridges burnt due to family fights that took place this year) and its just going to be me, dh, K, my mom and her BF at our house, we going to do a roast with potatoe bake, salads and dessert and just spend the day relaxing and enjoying our time with K. I will still pop past my families house, just wont spend the whole day there.

We put up the Christmas tree and decoration on Saturday and K loved it, he loves showing everyone where his and Jessies christmas stocking is.

Things have been really hectic my side re: work and the company closing next week Thursday, i have tons of work but will do some work at night during the holiday. At least I will come back next year knowing that i will busy busy busy. Alot of my clients have left for their holidays so i cannot do much anyway untilt they return next year.

Zee- sorry to hear Zander is giving you a hard time.

I have been having the worst periods since having the twins, i have to wear a super plus tampon and sanitary towel and still change every hour to 1.5hrs and I'm getting infections from so much changing and wiping etc. it's ridiculous so i went back to the gynae and we have agreed as I'm steralized he will do an endometrial ablation which is basically removing the lining of my uterus by burning it off. it means my body couldn't sustain a pregnancy again but obviously we don't want another baby anyways so that's fine. Basically because my body has carried twins it is constantly producing an extra thick lining to sustain further multiple pregnancies should they occurr. and as i don't need it it is just becoming too much of a nightmare every 25 days to have horrendous bleeding. I'm getting very dizzy and weak during periods and it's all because of the massive amount of blood loss at such a fast rate too. I will only go for it in January now because my Dr goes on leave soon.
