Vix - point taken that we havent had a more "listening ear" maybe we are VERY QUICK to give our opinion of what might or might not be, we are a sounding block here of lots of opinions. Maybe we should be a little more aware of what the person wants, are they asking for our opinion or are they wanting our support of just listening! But having said that, I dont think anyone said to SIMONE, oh, then you are clearly NOT pregnant, we all said, maybe this or maybe that, and I AM SO SORRY that you got that result, and most of us infact still said we are hopefull with her for a POS result later.. but yes, lessons can be learnt.... Sorry VIX about disregarding your second blob!!! I dont recall my comment then, but you were right and we should have paid more attention !!

SO SIMONE - WHOOO FLIPPEN WHOOOO!! again, I could not be happier.. we went through the exact same uphill and down hill and I am pleased that the hill went UP again for both of us!

okay friends, its my last day working today and then off to PE.. Cameron said to me yesterday, Mommy, I dont want the aeroplane, I want the bus!! I like the bus and then he starts pointing them all out, look at that nice big bus mommy, I want to go there! ( He has always like the plane, so I hope he doesnt kick up a fuss tomorrow and I just down played the whole thing during our discussion yesterday not to upset him and let him get any further "bee in his bonnet" over the idea of it.) I just spoke about the excitement of his family on the other side who he cants wait to see !!

Pfairy you gave me a good chuckle last night!!! I cant believe your boss dressed up as a fairy???? Nice re: voucher though!! Boy/girl?? I always wanted a little girl which I have so I really dont mind the sex next time round. G doesnt want to know though..... So we'll see how long that lasts!!!

Lisha how are you feeling today? I've got this tight chest. Not one other symptom. Okay last week I felt flu-ish for a few days...just sneezing and runny nose that cleared up. Then Friday night I only had a fever. Now I have tight chest and phlegm?? WTF??

Yes ladies we went to Cattle Baron. The food was DIVINE! I was starving so was so happy when they brought the warm oven baked bread to the table! YUM! The schnitzel was tiny though. Last time I was there it was 3 huge chicken fillets and I could hardly finish one...this time I finished one a and a piece of a second one. I have leftovers for lunch though

Zee that sounds so heartsore:-( I really hope it gets better! I'm so worried if Addison hates daycare next year I'll just leave her at home with Cynthia cause its 'easier'! I need to start looking for schools for her!!!!!

Nicole...go K! You should definately have more faith in the little guy and put him in undies at night I think??lol. That is really excellent! What about putting a potty in his room? That way he doesnt get to walk through the house and get all excited? It'll still be dark and straight back to bed?

Congratulations Simone. I'm so happy for you. I told C last week that the bloods say you're not pregnant and even he was disappointed, he still said, "but I though you don't get something like a false positive with HPT's" I just didn't want to say anything incase you really weren't pregnant. Wow, So excited for all of you who are pregnant together again!

Vix, I actually did say that your scan with the twins looked the same as my first scan, and you had another symptom that I said was the same with my pregnancy.

Julz, I hope Dylan gets better soon!

Pfairy, LOL @ your boss. Enjoy the voucher. I still need to book my haircut and pedicure for mother's day. Will probably only be next week.

I'm so excited, I have a baby shower to go to the first sat in June, I can now get excited about baby showers without getting broody, it's fab!

Mothers day this weekend!!!! Wonder if I'll get my first ever mothersday prezzie this year???? I've never even had a card from C so I've been dropping HUGE hints LOL and it's DH's Birthday next weekend so busy times!

Firstly:

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Freakin hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo for Simone!!!! I'm so pleased you got your confirmation so now you can shout from the roof tops and be a super proud mommy to be again! This past week must have been so hard desperatly wanting to bhappy for yourself but so nervous to hope too much. I wish you the happiest and healthiest pregnancy ever and after all the weight you've lost this past year I've no doubt it will be just that.

Just want to say this about the labs not giving out results, I DO understand especially for super sensitive cases but seriously for the GP to flat out tell Simone no she's not pregnant when clearly she was is wrong! What if she wanted confirmation before taking drugs that can damage the baby? Sorry but I think the fault totally lies with the way the GP handled this, it was very wrong. Not everyone is trying to confirm pregnancy to do the happy dance, what if she didn't want to be pregnant and the Dr told her it's neg she would have sighed a huge sigh of relief and gone on with at least another month of enjoying life as normal. I think bloods need to be dealt with with a bit more concern.

I think, and I may be shot down for this because I too have been guilty at times, this whole past month has tought us some valuable lessons, a good friend once told me........its nothing to be supportive and hear the person out. We have ALL at times been very quick to cut people down or deny them their right to celebrate just because the 'facts' point to a different outcome, remember nearly a year ago I posted about seeing a second blob on my 7w scan and everyone (not one prson) could agree with me that it might just maybe possibly be another baby? Almost no one believed Simone could be pregnant with neg bloods, 3 + HPT's must have been wrong??????? We like to brag about being non judgemental and supportive but actually our posts do speak otherwise from time to time.

Julz sorry to hear that Dylan is sick again, hope it doesnt turn into anything serious.

Zee, i promise it will get better, when K first attended creche he cried every morning for 3 weeks. When he started at this new school in Jan he cried for a week and now he is 100% fine. K is also playing by himself when we fetch him sometimes, i asked the teacher and she said he does play with the kids but often by the end of the day they really just want some time to them selves.

Pfairy, you crack me up, but your boss sounds really cool though. Enjoy the voucher - sounds like heaven.

Simone were you able to get you chicken snitzel you were craving for last night?

Lisha how is the chest/throat infection going....any better?

afu, all is well besides for a crappy night of sleep, K is definatly wanting to get off the night time nappy as this is the third night in a row that he has woken up between 01:00 - 03:00 to take his nappy of and got to the toilet - very cool............besides for the fact that he then thinks its time to get up and play, so i just take him back to bed and lie there with him and end up falling asleep there.
