Thanks for the tip Simone - great idea, i will attempt tonight and see what happens as i would loooooove to get him off the nappy. I was meaning to ask, how is addys appetite these days? I remember at one point you were saying she wasnt eating that much....has she improved?

Nicole I am a firm believer in that they must feel to learn..lol. Addison woke up wet 3 times since January...and that was it...never had an accident at night again. I know its a schlep to clean up at whatever hour, but we used to put a spare shower curtain under 2 sheets and then one sheet under the shower curtain. If accident all you do is take top sheets and shower curtain off and there is a sheet on and you change him and put him back in bed:-)

Helen i really hope the agent will help in allowing your mom to stay a bit longer to helpy you all out, its sounds like both you and Oliver are enjoying her being around.

Mandy im sure Cam will be fine...you must be so excited to see your sister I hope you have a safe and calm flight and enjoy your time (even with the circumstances).

I also agree with Lisha in saying that because what fact the (we now know) as the unreliant receptionist/GP who didnt read the results accuratly we unfortunantly did assume bacause of the bloods - yes definatly in white and black and lesson learnt, however i was hoping with everything inside me that Simone was preggies.

Simone im wanting to take off the night time nappy but for example the night before last he woke whilst he had already finished having a pee in the nappy - but then wanted the wet nappy off right away - he slept the rest of the evening in underpants without having an accident.

C just said that I can go for a facial, pedi and mani! I'm so excited for tomorrow. And then next week I'll go for the haircut. After the last 2 weeks I feel like I really need it!

Julz not sure if I mentioned but my HCG levels on Friday was 341. My gynae's receptionist said my levels went up beautifully...I meant to ask her if she had seen those results on Friday (vs my Gp's receptionist) what her call would have been. I know nothing about these HCG levels, but SexyHexy posted levels you had given her, and according to me 341 indicates a positive as it is over 5???

u say 3 + hpt's are odd? lol. I dont think so. I used 3 different tests, I didnt test early either....so I am really putting the blame squarely on my GP and his receptionist. That's just how I feel. They could have put more effort into interpreting the results I think?

So your ttc friend also got + tests and - bloods?

Anyways....I'm not going to dwell...just wish I didnt have to spend double on bloods..lol. Think that's my gripe!!

Helen it must've been that dance! lol. So glad Oliver is making progress with his speech! Who knows...speech therapy may not even be necessary?? Hope he picks up lots of words now;-)

o.k i just want to say, it's not that i think anyone intentionally directed negativity, it's just that we're so quick to look at facts and yet we all claim maternal instinct is so strong................ we just need to take cases like Simones 3+ hpts and give her a little more support so she can feel happy about the possibility of being pregnant. Not be so quick to post comments like

" I believe they are conclusive, that if there is a hormone called hcg which is usually not present at all in the body, then you are pregnant, its a yes or a no test. "

because that suggests you think my 3+hpts are worthless and it must be neg because the bloods said so no i feel like i can't celebrate.

Julz- as for my scan, really it's not a case of pretending it can't be another baby so my gynae looks good, it was just that everyone truly believed it couldn't have possibly been another baby, that's all. and like i say i was in no way offended by the opinions i was just using it as an example that not everything is plain black and white

Helen- the Nestargel does thicken the milk but 1, it's a ball ache and 2, it gave Jono terrible tummy cramps so i stopped. it probably will give a bit of constipation too but that's avoidable with Lacson 3x a day

Nicole wow K is doing so well with toilet training. Hopefully he gets over the playfullness at that time soon.

Vix regarding your post about not being 'supportive' about your scan and Simone's neg bloods I don't think it was anyone's intention to not be supportive or even judgemental. We reacted on the 'facts' that the apparent 'experts' had given you guys so I don't think anyone intended any negativity to either of you.
