Explain it to the Paed exactly how you explained it to us. It doesn't sound silly or paranoid at all I also think it sounds milk related. She's too old for colic to start especially if she's been fine til now, I can only think it has to be milk related but there's no use in you trying to guess what to do so just tell the Paed exactly what you're thinking even though you think it might sound silly.

Zee- oh man, I really hope the MS stops soon and you get some energy back. The first trimester is a pig!

Christi- sorry you're sooooo busy, I really don't know how you ladies manage to study as well as work and play mommy!

We had a tough night, the tweenies are all stuffy nosed grrrr o.k not too bad I probably still shouldn't complain but I was up for dummies about 7 times.

C is enjoying school but totally hates me right now. He won't talk to me, he won't listen to me, I can't kiss him or hug him, I mustn't touch him and sometimes I'm not even allowed in the same room as him. I'm quite irritated by him right now and actually he can stay at bloody school for all I care right now.

Simone- Congrats on the weight loss, well done on the bible class, shoo I think my days of 'teaching' and standing up in front of people are over, I used to be really confident at things like that in school and uni but I'd probably be beside myself with nerves now!

Christi - you sound so busy!!! Good luck with studying.

Nicole - Oliver isn't too keen on singing songs but I try "head shoulders knees and toes" (he usually just laughs at me), "Hickory Dickory dock" eeeerm...can't think of anymore right now but I suggest the same as Julz and get a book of nursery rhymes (and yes Julz some of them are so weeeeird lol!)

Julz - Glad you arrived in India, sounds like you're really busy there, I'd love to know more about yor job, it sounds so interesting.

And that is where I hit a blank, sorry to all the other ladies I've missed.

AFM - Oliver has a hacking cough now but seems more or less ok in himself so hopefully its just the after math of the cold. Then on to Nina, I'm probably going to sound like a totally paranoid mum, I said on Monday that she was all better, what I didn't say was that I'd taken her back to a doctor on Saturday because she still didn't seem right and still seemed to be squealing in pain. Typically as soon as I got to the doc she was all smiles and no issues whatsoever. GP checked her ears, nose, throat etc and said they were clear so the antibiotics had worked (she'd started them on Thurs). I don't know how to explain it but I KNOW something just isn't right but I honestly don't know what I have days where she is totally fine feeds fine and sleeps fine, then I have days where she just will not drink her milk and gags and fusses etc but you can see she's still hungry but just won't have any of it. Then she'll have days where she does drink her milk but then seems to be in quite a lot of pain almost immediately after, she'll be writhing and fussing afterwards and making little yelps. Then I have days where she'll take her feed and seem fine and go off to sleep without hassle only to wake up an hour later in seemingly agony and then she literally cries and cries and gets herself into a complete state and NOTHING will pacify her until she's cried herself to exhaustion but even then I still really struggle to get her to settle. I have another appointment with the paed on Friday as he wanted to see her after her ear infection to check that its all healed. I don't know quite how I'm going to explain it all to him or what can be done about it because I KNOW something isn't right but there are no obvious signs at all. He did say at the last appointment that we might perhaps need to consider a milk allergy as it could be a contributing factor to the ear infections that she's been susceptible to. Argh, I just don't know, its horrible because I know something isn't right but there are no obvious signs at all and if he checks her over he'll probably give her a clean bill of health. I'm concerned about her but I don't know what I'm concerned about if you know what I mean and I'm so scared the paed is going to tell me she's fine (like the GPs keep telling me) but I know she isn't...sigh

And on that note she's awake so I must go, looks like today is going to be a day for not drinking her milk as she only wanted enough of her milk to satisfy her hunger not fill her up this morning.

Hope you are all doing well. Not much news here, still MS and the awful metal taste in my mouth remains. Im passed 9 weeks though so hopefully it will be a distant memory soon.
Then just busy at work and at home with three assignments due. Z is adorable but full of mischief!

Vix, hope there is good news soon. Is C enjoying creche yet?

Its hectic this side! I am writing an exam & a test on Sat and I have to hand in 4 assignments. I literally have no spare time, just read Moomie quickly in the evenings and then I start working & studying....

Work is getting better & when I feel down about it, I just try to remember how much the extra money helps pay every month and I am also still supposed to get a R3000 increase after 3 months. WHich would bring my gross to double what I earned at the previous company

Iris is getting real cute now, saying more& more words now and even starting to make little senteces... Unfortunately still on nappies & it doesn't hellp that I have no time to try potty train her...
